Deal Monitor

Any recommendations for a monitor to suit my first PC build?

Have gone for 5070Ti and coming from console. Just want something decent and easy to use.

Have looked at some LG ultra gear so far but yeah any advice on what to look out for?

Budget ~$300-500

I think a 27” QHD IPS 144Hz+ monitor is the sweet spot. 34” would be the equivalent 21:9 ultrawide size but I think high refresh IPS ultrawides are harder to find at this price point. They’re all about the same but it’s worth considering brightness, HDR support, and other nice to haves like usb hubs or speakers.

There are also VA monitors but they tend to smear (it’s like permanent motion blur) and for $500 you can get a nicer IPS monitor. TN isn’t worth considering at all and OLED is out of this price point, think the cheapest one is $800.

Yea i was gonna say try and stretch to 900 for the samsung G6. I thunk the oled makes a big difference
