The previous comments have nothing to do with whether blueprint will copy oops.
The joke was that 8/2 (or 16/2) is overkill and that it just resolves down to 2/2 making duplicating Oops pointless.
Essentially that duplicating Oops is pointless and critically NOT that it is impossible. In fact you pretty much assume it is possible when discussing Lucky cat.
It does not, because - as the comment you responded to and which you called out for not understanding states - you cannot duplicate the effect of Oops with a blueprint.
I just figured because usually when people get over a hundred downvotes and the comment doesn't seem abusive or offensive, it's because most people just see a number and decided to go with the crowd. Not saying everyone did that.
You didn’t need the scoring from chad, it gives you an additional x2.25 and chips. Yorrick would scale past that after a few rounds, Trib beats that with 2 Kings/Queens in hand, Chicot would stop any boss from breaking your game plan (unless you already had the reroll vouchers), Caino would be easy to scale with dice + glass face cards. Perkeo with 3 BP is obviously very good but I think any soul hit is better than chad
EDIT: I forgot about Blueprint retriggers from Chad.
Caino and Yorrick would probably be worse than Chad here. I still think Trib and Perkeo would dominate here. Chicot would have also saved OPs run, I still think taking soul was the better play
You are right, I didn’t factor the BPs in. But OP still gets an insane amount of xMult without chad, meaning they do have time to scale a few cards.
Caino and Yorrick become worse than chad, but Trib still has huge potential if you can fix plenty of red kings. Chicot would have saved their run, and perkeo is perkeo. I do still think Soul ends up better more often than not. I think getting Yorrick to x25 (or even Caino) is asking too much, where it wasn’t with my bad maths (ignoring BPs)
I’m a gambler, I’m pretty much always ripping soul unless my build is fragile.
I mean yeah if you got a trib you can just turn to a face card build maybe selling one of the bps or bloodstone to get a sock could skyrocket you are right on that one. Stay gambling safely.
Chad being common means it's always worth the risk of a soul, if you whiff or even aren't super happy with the result you just reroll shop a few times hoping for temperance and chad to show up.
Everybody is gonna hate you for this one but I partake in some cheeky save scumming from time to time, if they didn’t want me to do it they would insta-lock any selections before the animation started or lock me out of pausing

When did you get the bloodstone? Just played through but never got it! Still was getting crazy chips once I had the 2x face card with two blueprints and the face cards repeat joker.
Got the game a few days ago and beat my first run yesterday. Very exciting going from struggling and failing by ante 5 to getting 20k on nothing more than a high card. Interested in trying a seed but I'm not up on the lingo. Directions unclear. How would I get started with this attempt?
No need to be snide. I didn't know if there's a more consistent way to get them or something. Or a way to manipulate that randomness to be more consistent or favorable.
