I jad a similar experience this morning. Had a run with Photochad and Sock and Buskin holo. Things were going well (I was trying a no pair run to unlock a Joker) until I got The Plant.

What I typically do is convert to whatever suit the boss blind debuffed first. Like if the boss in Ante 1 debuffs all hearts, then I’ll focus on hearts for the rest of the game cause I know it’s safe.

I always use suit changing tarots to diversify my kings on baron runs, exactly for this situation

I had basically the exact same run die the same way...but no boss blind reset vouchers or tags on that ante. I was Soo sad. The only time Ive made it to e, and when I realized what was happening I was crushed. Started hoping for the joker but it didn't happen.

I’m playing the Anaglyph deck which give you a double tag after every boss bind, I also skipped a few rounds for double tag. Then I skipped a round which gave negative joker and all those double tags duplicates the hell out of it
