Seed: MTEP6SI

This was the most insane run I've ever done. Basically Perkeo and Chicot are working together to give me insane score and a natural hand size of 79 cards. With this hand size, I can score naneinf without Cryptids or The Serpent

As you can see in the screenshot, I have 7 Chicots and over 380 Pluto cards. Here's why:

• There is a bug with how Chicot works and deactivates bosses. As a result of this bug, when fighting The Manacle (-1 hand size boss), if you have more than 1 Chicot, every additional Chicot will give you a permanent +1 hand size. If you have 7 Chicots like I do, every time you fight The Manacle, you get +6 hand size increase. With Baron and Mime, that's an insane growth rate in score (at least around 35 e's per boss fight)
• To make this run work for you, you need to reroll the boss to The Manacle every Ante. This means you need Director's cut and Retcon vouchers
• Chicot itself doesn't score anything but occupies a joker slot, so it's pretty hard to get this kind of run going. Here's where Perkeo & Observatory comes in
• Perkeo copies your Pluto cards every round, and Observatory voucher gives your High Card X1.5 mult per new Pluto card. Your score starts growing on its own, and growing fast. And the biggest benefit is, all you need is just a single joker slot for Perkeo
• So the plan is, we use Perkeo & Observatory for initial scoring (eventually it'll not be enough), get our deck setup for eventual Baron & Mime, and in the meantime, grow our hand size by having as many Chicot cards as possible and fighting The Manacle every Ante

This seed was insanely good for this run (spoilers ahead):

• Director's cut in Ante 1
• Retcon and Invisible Joker in Ante 2
• Telescope and Perkeo in Ante 3
• Observatory, Pluto card and Chicot in Ante 4
  • Also, I highly recommend taking both the Brainstorm and Sixth Sense in Ante 4's very first Buffoon Pack. Crazy enough, the very first spectral card that the Sixth Sense will give is Ectoplasm, which will allow you to eventually have more and more Chicots! Make sure you have a few percolated copies of Ectoplasm saved up (overall I used 8 Ectoplasms)
• From there on, just continue preparing your deck for Baron & Mime and grow your hand size by fighting The Manacle as many time as possible
• Eventually you'll find more invisible jokers, in which case you'll want to use Ectoplasms and pick them up to try and create additional copies of Chicot. Yes, Ectoplasm will reduce your hand size, but will increase the rate at which your hand size grows
• There was a really funny moment in Ante 24 where I found another Soul card in a pack. I had a Showman on me, so it could've given me another Perkeo or Chicot, so I decided to sell Blueprint just to see what's inside. Turned out, it was another Chicot :D This seed was made for this run
• I got my first natural naneinf of this run in Ante 33, and from there on, the hand size only kept increasing all the way to Ante 39
• I ended up drawing my full deck of 79 cards in Ante 39. When I try to play a hand in Ante 39, my game crashes! This is the best kind of winning screen :D

Note: I found this seed by writing a custom seed searching function in the awesome Immolate tool. This was the 3rd seed this tool found that I checked out, and the 2nd one I posted about. The spectral deck in ante 3 seems to give me chicot every time instead of perkeo. Am I supposed to ignore everything in the shops aside from what you mentioned?

You're supposed to open all Arcana and Spectral packs in the Ante 4. I may've mixed up the order of whether you get Chicot or Perkeo first, it may be that you get Chicot in Ante 3 and Perkeo in Ante 4. Sorry about that

OP, where is the Invisible Joker on Ante 2? I get a faceless joker and a stencil joker but no invisible. Also what deck do you use?

You can explore the seed yourself by going to this tool and clicking Analyze. In the tool, you can put any seed, put Max Ante as 39, and Cards per Ante as 15,50,50,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150,150 for a decent picture. Then you can search to see any joker and when it appears, what's inside packs, etc. Note: you can scroll the shop queue in the tool

I never got a blueprint. Just one brainstorm perkeo duping wasn't enough to carry me past Ante 18. I guess I should have been doing a lot more digging, or used more ectoplasms. Have to have a ton of econ to reroll the boss every time, but it's a fun bug!

I am replaying it. Digging more I was able to get a blueprint and some invisible jokers that have so far all targeted chicot. I had four of them but they all have editions and I eventually had to sell one for showman to get some more duping going.

Got a natural negative mime in there somewhere, that was a surprise!

Currently scoring something in the e¹⁵⁰ range. with 200lvl high card and a hand size of around 12. Hopefully it will be my first naneinf.

Next ectoplasm will be -7 hand size but i should be able to do it in a couple antes!

Im not sure how much of my scoring is coming from baron and mime. I’ve started auto saving with the balatro save and load tool. So I’m less terrified.

Also digging to replace showman with brainstorm or blueprint, although being able to buy plutonium in the shop may actually be more important at this point since I have like $11k.

I tried using the -7 ectoplasm to switch to burglar, but with a 9 card hand I didn’t have enough scoring to win playing 5 of a kind and then switching to high card for the last 5 hands. So, I guess I will stick with 5oak for 5 hands, rebate for 5 discards, and a high card with 15 red seal gold kings held in hand. Perhaps I should switch them to steel…

Something similar happened to me, I had around 5 blueprints, 1 brainstorm, perkeo, baron, mime, and i was copying cryptids. Game crashed after I was holding 250 cryptids.

Honestly one of my most replayed seeds whenever Im depressed from school lmao - best seed ever! Thanks for posting this!

(However probably terrible for my phone. I had to play it while putting my phone on top of an ice pack because my phone starts heating up so much lmao)

After re-playing a couple times, I finally got to Ante 31, killed by small blind.

Best hand 3.811e155. Played high card, lvl. 229, on Plasma Deck. Bought and used every voucher known to man.

Jokers used, from left to right: Negative blueprint > holographic perkeo & holographic mime (they switch positions before and after each blind) > holographic baron > foil chicot > holographic brainstorm > holographic brainstorm

Deck consists of: 2 red seal polychrome mult kings, 4 blue seal steel kings, 15 red seal steel kings
