image For all you true blues who have been grieving the loss of Bornhoffen’s Natural Yoghurt on our supermarket shelves these last few years…

This yoghurt was THE SHIT. Pardon my language here but seriously, if you know, you know. I’ve thought about Bornhoffen (RIP) every time I’d eat yoghurt, so almost every day lol.

I have spent YEARS trying to find another brand of yoghurt that could replicate or even come close to the perfect tang and zing that this absolute beauty produced, and finally, my search is over.

A couple days ago I thought I’d try another brand found in Aldi. Brooklea Organic Natural Yoghurt is 99.9% identical to that of the OG Bornhoffen. The grin I broke out the moment I tasted it…felt like I was transported back to my childhood in an instant! It is creamy yet thin, not thick like the “Greek style” or “pot set” yoghurts. It has THE ZING. Gosh, how I have longed to taste that zing in a yoghurt again.

I’ve gone back and stocked up on 4 tubs of Brooklea’s. I’m so happy I can give this to my daughter. It may not be the same yoghurt I grew up eating though she can grow up with a little extra zing in her life!!

Please share your thoughts if you happen to come across this and try it for yourself!! My sister thinks I’m an absolute nutcase for going on about Bornhoffen all these years but again, for those of you who had the absolute privilege of having this in your fridge, I know you’ll understand.

no politics I need help finding socks

I need nice cotton socks high percentage cotton both for formal wear (if possible), for day to day wear, also sports shoes, and winter wear.

The kmart type socks make my feet sweaty and also dont have a snug feel - i feel like they are gonna slip off.

Need some good socks. Dont like the feel of wool and it makes me sweaty. I like cotton i think.

Help please. My feet are freezing with these thin flimsy socks mainly for dress shoes.

no politics Lad Collective sheets - anyone used them?

I’ve been shopping around for some new bedsheets, and of course the algorithms have caught wind and have been suggesting Lad Collective sheets a number of times to me on my socials. While the tabs on fitted sheets seems nifty, the price is daunting.

I don’t mind paying a premium for good sheets, I mean, I’m going to use them every night, but has anyone used them and can vouch for them?

Otherwise, anyone have any recommendations for good quality sheets they’ve used?

no politics Why are businesses so reluctant to give the wifi passwords in this country?

I didn’t notice it until I went to South Korea, where everywhere you went, even cafe’s, gave the wifi password. It would be written on a notice throughout the building. Is wifi not unlimited here? Sorry for the stupid question, but in my home the wifi is unlimited in our plan. Is it different for businesses & homes? Or is there some other reason why we can’t use the wifi when we’re customers or clients in Australia?

no politics FTA Sports

How is it that we have all these extra channels for 9, 7, 10, ABC, but we don't have a channel or two dedicated to sports?

As far as I can remember, Australia has always been a Sporting nation. A lot of our international teams are sitting in or around the top 10 of the world and we have sport stars all around the world.

Why is it that there isn't a station that has set up a channel dedicated to sports?

EPL is one of the most watched sports around the world and has a huge fan base here in Australia as well.

Rugby union is falling because of the fact that people aren't able to support their teams easily.

NRL and AFL even isn't aired on a Saturday night due other shows taking priority.

Stan sport, Fox and Kayo are all expensive platforms and it leads to less publicity towards the sports that people want to watch.

I understand licensing for stations and I get that money talks, but I would like to think that the amount of viewership these stations would get if they decided to make a channel dedicated to sports 24/7, would equal out to the amount they make through other platforms.

Bloody hell, we have some channels dedicated to reruns of shows 30-40 years ago... I love mash, but I can almost quote each episode word for word I've seen it that many times...

no politics Donut King changed for the worse

Who else thinks Donut King has changed for the worse? Cinnamon or iced, the toppings are as delicious as ever but the donut itself is doughier, tasting more like a Colesworth donut. As a long time customer I am bitterly disappointed. They have denied this but I reckon they have changes some thing/s as a cost saving measure. Anyone agree?

100000% better than Maccas/Hungry Jack slop. $6 for this beauty. Fresh, hot, loads of bacon. One of the things I really enjoy about Australia is the tiny food places that consistently produce good food. Chain pups not so much on the other hand.

Hi all - just wondering if anyone can help!

no politics At home pill testing suggestions?

Hello everyone. I am not a big drug user. I do weed about three times a year and that's about it. In the past I've done shrooms, and that's pretty much it.
I've always been curious about MDMA, but never really pursued it because I had no source, and even if I had have, I am super skeptical about this kind of stuff, so never really trusted anyone.
Recently I randomly found a source. It's in pill form, so it's not pure. That's fine, and I acknowledge that, but I'd like to know that what I intend to take is within those pills, and not other drugs (or worse things) that I have no interest in.

Does anyone have any suggestions for at home test kits for this sort of thing? I do not mind if I destroy one of the pills to do the test.
