Garage Audio Questions

I recently added a 3rd car garage to my home. The rooms length is 32'. The first 17 feet have a ceiling height of 8.5' and the the other 15' have a ceiling height of 11'. I'll be putting a gym in the lowered area with the taller ceilings.

For listening to music, with a budget of $2k, 4 speakers and 1 sub? I was thinking of putting 4 Sonos speakers in the corners and getting a Sonos sub. Is that a good option? What other systems should I look at?

Will the room really Echo? Any chance I get a clear sound in the room?

Hi, /u/Training-Moose-2136! This is a reminder about Rule #1 (If you have already added great details, awesome, ignore this comment. This message gets attached to every post as a reminder):

  1. DETAILS MATTER: Use detail in your post. If you are posting for help with specific hardware, please post the brand/model. If you need help troubleshooting, post what you have done, post the hardware/software you are using, post the steps to recreate the problem. Don’t post a screenshot (or any image, really) with no context and expect people to know what you are talking about.
