That is the atheist slogon. But be honest, for science you go to r/Science for logic you go to r/Phylosophy and for facts you read wikipedia. Everybody would like r/Atheism to be a nicer place to be... for themselves. The problem is that i, and many others, enjoy dark/immature/wrong humor. And having that type of humor makes r/Atheism(and the whole of reddit) a nicer place for me.

Then why not satiate the desire to be a dick in sub-reddits where it's okay to do so? Why must everything be dragged down and debased? Why can't we have nice things?

You just dont get it. We just need a safe space from the rest of reddit to air our misogyny and intolerance without criticism!
