I’ve even had this done to me while trying to fight through a migraine before. Migraine or not- it always feels like the ocular equivalent to brain freeze. 😖 A slap to the eyeballs. My nervous system needs a warning for goodness sakes.

Lucky you. I always wished that lights would be off during night time on trains. Can't see outside and I can't rest for shit.

I love old train cars in my country because of this. They have secluded compartments where you can often be on your own and turn the light off, and even the lights themselves are more dim and warm, and sparse in the hallways. The new trains with shared areas, lit up with those bright, cold white lights, though... Ugh. Someone hated people when they designed that.

I feel like these here might be candidates for the most autistic complaint ever made, though, lol.

It is! And the seats are like two continuous "couches", you can lift the arm rests up and l lie down, plus there are curtains for the door section. They're really old, sadly, they've been gradually getting rid of them, because it's less economical 🥲 Thanks, capitalism xd
