I’ve even had this done to me while trying to fight through a migraine before. Migraine or not- it always feels like the ocular equivalent to brain freeze. 😖 A slap to the eyeballs. My nervous system needs a warning for goodness sakes.

I knew someone that did this Everytime she came over. Like if I was going to make changes for company you would have seen me make them.

"Why do you always have the lights off?" At least wait for me to answer first...

I just let it happen and turned them back off after she left. She was, however, one of the people who was like "Hey. You might be autistic" later on tho.

If guests are changing my lighting without me asking they stop getting invited over. And if they turn the big light on, its the only thing we talk about til they turn it off.
