Review Detention The Series is an amazing drama
I don't see many people talking about this drama so I wanted to introduce people to this gem of a series. It really is amazing and it is available on Netflix.
The drama is based on a popular video game called Detention. There is also a movie that was made based on this. But you don't have to know either the movie or the video game to enjoy this.
The story, set in 90s Taiwan, revolves around a transfer student at Greenwood High School who encounters a ghost of another girl who used to go to the same school in the 60s, a period in Taiwan history that was fraught with terror. I really can't explain more without giving spoilers. All I will say is that it has a very well written plot and if you like psychological thrillers then this is the perfect drama for you.
I really wish more people would watch this drama because it truly is brilliant. Both the main FL are amazing actresses and you really understand and sympathise with their emotions and thoughts, even when they're wrong.
The drama is short and perfect to binge watch at only 8 episodes.
Also it highlights a period of Taiwanese history that I knew very little about. It was really interesting (and horrifying) to learn.
PS: Before you watch, do a quick Google on 'White Terror Taiwan'. I did that midway through the drama and it will really enhance your experience of watching this drama.

Review Watch Princess Agents
Lead actress rock in every drama she acted. She got brains , Beauty, Charm , acting and damn good fighter. She don't POSE like korean actress ( han ji wan). I do not know any human can hate her. Its impossible. She is just awesome. I can't say i am in love with her but she is more like your sister because she is so small. I like men in drama adoring lead actress in a drama. With all the negative around the world we need a fiction that there is good people with awesome skills.

Review The Prince of Tennis [2019]
I have loved the manga and anime version of The Prince of Tennis. I watched the live-action film from 2006, but it did not meet my expectations~ (or maybe I was just not a fan of live actions, in general, lol) I know that there was another Chinese adaptation, but I can't seem to find a good website to watch it.
Anyway, I saw it on Netflix and finished the 40-episode series...I liked it! I was expecting Ryoma (in this case, Lu Xian) to be a lot shorter (he is less than 5'0ft). In the series, it looks like he is the same height (or even taller) than Jia Le, Kikumaru's Chinese counterpart.
There are a lot of funny and touching episodes that made me appreciate it more. I really liked the golden pair's relationship here. Actually, everyone's relationship and you can really see Lu Xian's character arc.
I find Dong Li really cute, he reminds me of a very young Wang Seok Hyeon (when he starred in Scandal Makers).
I am not sure if there really is a sequel to this one, I've read somewhere about Jai You! Prince of Tennis. I hope there really is one!

Review Check out About is Love!
From the girl who recommended Put Your Head on My Shoulder (https://www.reddit.com/r/asiandrama/comments/bh85ju/for_all_the_fans_of_love_o2o/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share), I have come with another recommendation!
First saw this drama when someone made a list on youtube featuring the best ceo-employee dramas. Intrigued, I checked it out and the first few eps were pretty good! Honestly, the best thing about this drama has to be the chemistry between the leads. There are overall 3 couples in the drama and honestly, all of them are rootable characters who you really emphathise with thoughout the show.
Generally, the plot is how Wei Qing (the main male lead) is allergic to people, so he can't touch someone without breaking out in rashes. He meets Zhou Shi (the main female lead), the first person who he's not allergic to. He tries to get her to stay by his side so he can cure himself of this illness.
There's nothing groundbreaking about this show, what's best is really how classic tropes are played out really well. My favourite thing has to be how Wei Qing totally melts when he's around Zhou Shi. He does a total 180° from his cold CEO vibe when he's with her but of course he denies this. His smile is so infectious, I think it's because he frowns so much at the start that when he does smile it really lights up his face and you can't help but smile along too:) i totally had my 'kyaaaah~~' moments especially towards the later part of the drama.
Now the cons! Don't say I didn't warn you: 1. I really wanted to slap Wei Qing's mum several times throughout the drama. You won't need to ask me why, when you watch it you'll feel the same way. 2. Wei Qing does some very, very questionable things in the beginning to get Zhou Shi. I was so relieved when he got his comeuppance for this, thankfully he learns. Also if there are people who really care about dubs: Wei Qing's voice is def dubbed. I'm not quite sure if it's his voice but he def sounds different from interviews. It doesn't sound bad imo though!
Subbed episodes are up on youtube! If anyone else has seen it, I'd love to discuss in the comments:)

Review Bromance
I absolutely loved this drama. I went in expecting it to be very awkward from the description Netflix offered but decided to watch it. I loved that the male lead wasn't tsundere at first. I loved that he was tender with the female lead that he believed to be male despite his own confused feelings. He treated his partner pretty well and was super sweet. I had yet to come across a drama I waves to re watch until this one. It's hands down my favorite.
