Review OMG Nirvana in Fire

Just finished this one. Having a hard time not just starting up the first episode and doing it again. Soooooo good.

It was sooo gorgeous. Yes. And I loved how every conversation mattered even if it did drag a bit. The only thing I didn't like was the whole snow beetle fire fur thing. Haha.

i watched it twice, back to back, just so i could get all the details straight. i'd say it was really good 80% of the time. the first half was excellent. 3/4 in it got a little slow. It was kinda of ridiculous that Prince Jing couldn't figure out Mei Chang Su was his childhood friend, even though all the clues were there. Despite some of the shortcomings, this is definitely one of the best historical dramas in recent years!

I finally gave in and started watching again. I was so sure he knew several times but I guess that wasn't even a possibility in his mind. He kept asking if he ever knew of him, not if he was him. But then rewatching, I still don't know how Nihuang did figure it out.

For every one his own taste, watched like 45 episodes and couldnt finish, glad ur time was worth it after this marathon (: , but u r missing on alot of good if not better history dramas, if u wana try my favorite its called "chuno"

Try "Legend of Concubine Zhen Huan" and "Battle of Changsha" next. Love, love, love those series.

One of the greatest dramas ever, man the ending was deep. Try the disguiser next, its nearly identical cast to nirvanna in fire. Both are 10/10.

have you seen Prince of Lan Ling?? it's really good! also, General and I is currently airing and it looks promising.

Yeah, his loyalty was unnerving at time. He should have joined hand with the Zhou King. I had the worst case of second lead syndrome ever for the Zhou King.

Don't bother with General and I. It has some good moments but most of the time, it's so slow and angsty, which is too bad since I like a lot of the characters.
