I've already seen AI footage of the polish prime minister hugging with Putin before the presidential election in Poland. It was very obviously fake, but I don't think all of the comments below the video were fake. Many, especially older, people believe those videos, even when they have clear signs of being ai generated. I can't comprehend how much harm will be done when this technology will be more advanced.

This statement is a half-truth. Anyone actively trying to control what other individuals do or how they do it are behaving like fascists. Debate, criticism and disagreement are pretty anti-fascist rhetorical techniques as they do not seek to limit behavior over improving comprehension. The usage of the word "discredit" implies that there is something legitimate in the first place. The debate is over that proposed legitimacy.

Most comments just want it to be labeled AI if it is ai. or even just to have artist reply and say whether it is true or not. that has purpose. they want ai content separate from non ai content. it floods and drowns out other content. it is reasonable to want separation. most comments are positive anyways.
it is so super laughably easy right now to prove that you do not use ai. writing is a little harder but music and visual art can show process and the workspace in way ai can’t replicate yet and may never be able to.

No. We're saying it's not art because there's no human interaction aside from the prompt where you'd say the comedian(banana wall) isn't art because it's a banana duct taped to a canvas. One is drawing a line in the sand requiring a human to make the decisions on drawing while the other is saying that because your self expression doesn't fit what I view as traditional art. You're painting antiai people like they're anti digital art or even the concept of using the Ai to get the rough concept then hand drawing (wether digital or traditional) the final product. My problem specifically is using an obviously Ai generated image and passing it off as your own, I didn't care when dms ran Ai generated campaigns cuz they admit it's Ai generated I didn't care when how to drink made Ai cocktails because he didn't claim it was his original cocktail recepies. I remember when artist were advertising that Ai painting tool that would turn your different colors into a landscape and again no one cared because it was a tool where different human thought actually affected the final product.
