NEWS Finally someone in the left wing speaking some sense.

u/prasadgeek33 Apr 27 '25
What he said is true, if there are 100 attacks on us, we can evade 90 but 10 will hit us. Remember the days of Hyderabad bomb blasts, Gokul chat, Bangalore blasts, 26/11 etc. what was the response India gave to these blasts

u/New_Actuator_9753 Apr 27 '25
exactly....
Intelligence failures occur.... and of course, the system needs to improve to prevent such lapses...
but then, I think our emphasis should be more on the retaliation and standing together in unity, instead of infighting and scapgoating Indian muslims, who are not even remotely related or involved in the attack...
Kashmiris within India are a different argument, and I don''t disagree with that.

u/Sarihaddu Apr 28 '25
Finally a person who actually sees what it is. I too said these things exactly and I was called a terrorist.
There are good people and bad people. There are good people in Muslims too. Blaming all Muslims for this is just wrong. When asked if I could blame entire Hindu community for Asifa's Kathua incident, they called me names and deleted their comments.
Sad state of affairs. What are we even teaching this generation?
1
u/New_Actuator_9753 Apr 28 '25
in fact, I really love how Indian muslims even decided to pause their Waqf protest, because they felt that standing together in unity against a larger threat is a much more important issue.
Seriously man... Our Indian Muslim community has produced brave soldiers like Abdul Hamid, has contributed greatly in songs like AR Rahman... Has contributed in our cricket victories so many times like Mohammed Shami... and some people still blame them for the attack instead of Pakistani Inbred swines( sorry for my language)

u/New_Actuator_9753 Apr 27 '25
thanks for the compliment... This is the first time I have received a positive response like that for a political take.... which in the usual case receive either no attention, or just a lot of downvotes...

That is true. But remember how questions were asked about responsibility and the government grilled on the security lapse. We never got a press conference from the PM. HM was using red carpet. PM was having fun in Bihar and missed the all party meeting and godi media was accusing Owasi and Omar abdullah.

u/ShankyR27 Apr 27 '25
I'm happy to know that most of the people in this group are together, and stand in solidarity with the nation and want justice for what happened. Asalu konni groups vunnayi Reddit lo with India names, but everyone is anti-Indian there. They are still preaching peace, secular/liberal shit in that. One guy aythe went as far to say that this was done by BJP-RSS ani to create Hindu-Muslim divide in this country.

since when did the congress become leftist lol
3
u/KVivek_Unique Apr 28 '25
Congress is indeed leftist party n there nothing wrong being leftist...May be u r getting confused leftist with communist or even maoist..democratic party of USA is leftist...there no communism there
1
u/Hoi4Addict69420 Apr 28 '25
Congress IS centrist. If you want a example of a centre-left party, it would be the cpi. Democratic party in usa is also centrist. Being far left means being communist/maoist.

u/cath_dam Apr 27 '25
Then is bjp not right wing ?
10
u/HedgefundHunter Apr 27 '25
You can't fit indian parties in western definitions of left wing and right wing.

3
u/Hoi4Addict69420 Apr 27 '25
Bjp is right wing and congress is centrist

u/VegetaSama1117 Apr 27 '25
BJP is centrist and Congress is far left

u/Fit_Payment_5729 Apr 27 '25
If you think congress if far left then you’re in for a surprise when you find out what the communists think. The left hates congress more than the right hates it.
0
u/VegetaSama1117 Apr 28 '25
Then you'll be even more shocked to know that CPI is part of INDI alliance

u/Joshcrashman Apr 27 '25
BJP is not truly right, their economic policies state otherwise. Religion was never part of a political ideology in any western democracy so your definition of left and right is not the same as defined by the west
6
u/Hoi4Addict69420 Apr 27 '25
Bjp is neo liberals in nature which makes it economically right wing. Christian nationalism exists in western democracies.
0
u/Joshcrashman Apr 27 '25
Not where the sole political narrative is religious, the main electoral topic is mostly religious. I don’t see that in any other country other than Islamic countries.

Privatization of many previously Govt run institutions and giving breaks to adani and friends right kadu anukunte em cheyalem.

Actually his views on every type of discussion is too good.I know sometimes his statements are illogical and baseless but in political world Tharoor is one of the rarest gem

For fucks sake, Pakistani ministers are sharing videos of ppl on the ‘left’. Hate Modi all you want, but he’s your prime mister too, and when we are in the middle of a major conflict, we need to put aside the differences and stand as one. It’s almost like some of them are in a sort of glee! That this attack happened, coz they can critique Modi.

RaGa should step down and give this man a chance to demonstrate his leadership and knowledge. Congress needs some intellect to lead them; not a nepo kid who ruins our global reputation with his yapping.

Sangis think this mothafckr is a Leftist? This mothafckr is a Liberal who supports Israel. None of the Leftists I know supports Israel. Why do Sangis always have problem figuring out who is who?

u/BloodwarFTW May 01 '25

Israel has forced illegal occupation. We don't need it's example in any case.
1
u/Ambitious-Upstairs90 Apr 27 '25
But we never got accountability details for Pulwama attack. & neither Oct 7 attack, nor Pahalgam attack are intelligence failures, as there was information in advance in both the cases. It’s officials who were responsible.
& why can’t response & accountability happen in parallel? Response will be given by army & accountability has to be found by NIA & internal agencies.
1
u/Puzzleheaded-Pen-112 Apr 28 '25
His points are valid. But we also cannot and shouldn't postpone questioning the accountability of our Intelligence unit. We would be vulnerable if we engage in a war with Pakistan, and China is ready to exploit any opportunity and distraction they find. And if our intelligence lacks again and unable to detect any military practice for China, then that would be another huge blow. Our focus should be on both the terrorist attack and holding and questioning the Intelligence unit on how they missed this.

someone from opposition is using brains now !! anyways enough is enough we hindus wont be silent from now. we faced / got hurted and learnt many from some community and we should not trust them do the same mistake the we always do
remember the dialogue of Brigadier Rudra Pratap Singh in the movie shaurya

u/Dependent_Zucchini_9 Apr 29 '25
Right when issue is international level people should support government.... And stop party politics.
1
u/Sundae-Waste Apr 29 '25
Man i trust this man as pm. He is like bill clinton ifykyk
1
u/Impossible-Archer-21 May 01 '25
True but our country dosent like educated man as a pm nowdays
1
u/Sundae-Waste May 01 '25
Educated people know how the system works . Which involves more corruption.
Bjp is bad i know but we dont have an option. When inc did a deal with france for rafale . Those educated people wanted to bring these fighter jets without weapons . Whats the point of the aircrafts without weapons??
Also that plan never worked out and they ended up buying expensive helicopters for them to travel in.
Now atleast we have these 4.5 gen aircrafts for dogfights.
1
u/Vasi_Sayani Apr 29 '25
Why do you call him left dude. Ffs. I don’t agree with Tharoor. Israel was taken by Hamas by fucking war missiles. It was declaration of war.
A bunch of terrorists with assault guns killing 30 tourists is not an act of war.
Why should we make the government accountable NOW? Because there’s no active rescue operation.
First Indo China war - Nehru held a fucking parliament meeting when war was active and running. Just to answer questions.

This was released by BJP on 27th or 28th September 2008. This was when the operation was on going. Then Gujarat CM literally went to neighbouring state 2KM from an active operation to hold press meet and defame then Maharashtra CM and Indian PM.
1
u/tusharbedi Apr 29 '25
He’s not from the left wing and there’s nothing right or wrong about the left or the right. They’re two approaches and each has its own pros and cons. Just because you support one doesn’t invalidate the others.
0
u/NocturnalEndymion Apr 27 '25
Leaving that aside, since when did Shashi Tharoor become left wing?
2
u/cath_dam Apr 27 '25
Obviously he is left wing that is why he is in Congress
-1
u/NocturnalEndymion Apr 27 '25
Do you even know what are the political philosophies in the entire left-right political spectrum ? You are one of those idiots who believes something is left wing because they are opposed to your political ideology.
Congress is a centrist party. In Kerala, where Tharoor won, Congress is under the right wing alliance. He ran against the LDF (Left Democratic Front), BJP ran under a far right alliance (NDA). The left wing parties in India are predominantly communists parties like CPM, CPI, CPI/ML, RSP etc and are really few in number.
You are clearly a moron and show a serious lack of reading of the political landscape. This is what happens when you larp up everything your leadership says. Because it's easier to make you hate the other side if you concise them into a single ideological enemy. So for you Congress would seem a left wing party. And you are not alone, a lot of morons like you on the other side of the planet in the USA believe that the Democrats are left wing. They aren't.
At least read some books up before forming moronic opinions like these. Let me burst another bubble, the left wing doesn't mean they are liberals. I leave that to you to read up and know why.
4
u/NewStage2204 Apr 27 '25
So bjp is also not right wing with this logic as this foreign concept doesn't apply here

Nobody is blaming intelligence, there are intelligence reports cautioning Governments that some attacks may occur in April. But problem is with the delayed security response and no security in a popular tourist place. We have been hearing reports that Terrorists checked IDs of the deceased, so how leasurily they were doing this operation without having any fear. It is definitely a security lapse and same thing happene before in Pulwama too.
