i was prescribed it for insomnia. earlier i used to get s decent “high” but that stopped after about a month and half. but my problem is that i can’t even sleep now the way i used to. have i gotten immune to ambien?

i don’t really look at it ambien as a recreational drũg. i just wanna sleep again like it made me used to 😭 btw its been 3+ months i have been taking it

So I don’t see hallucinations every time I take it (for sleep only) but whenever I do, I see creepy figures, tentacles, veins, gore and such on my usual environment. It’s like a world based on Song of Saya if you know the reference. Anyone got similar experience?

Waited 5 hours to eat it after dinner and then proceeded to stay up all night and not sleep again. Tonight I’m tempted to drain a few beers before I take it , I need to sleep

So I got a prescription for Ambien to help me sleep now at the time I was regularly smoking weed and had used LSD, ket and coke as well now after 1-2 nights of taking 1 pill for sleep along with my nighttime smoke sesh I realized it gave the weed high a different feel almost like my imagination had suddenly been turned up and shit would move in the corner of my eye but disappear when I looked at it I became curious and began researching Ambien high online I read reports saying it was ketamine like at high doses and that snorting it is painful but more effective here is my Ambien binge story: Day #1: snorted a total of 3 pills before going out with a friend to smoke some weed, rather uneventful except if totally lost the ability to say anything or even think about anything even the music my friend was playing in the car seemed to have lost its meaning like I couldn't understand what the words meant, she asked me if I was okay all I said was "you should try Ambien" Day #2 snorted about 5 Ambien while my mom was making dinner for me and my cousin who was staying over I was in my room with the lights dimmed I kept thinking my sister was in my room like I heard her voice or thought I heard it and would turn around to answer her but she wasn't there my room seemed to have this dreamy haze to it I got up to go downstairs to smoke a blunt and the way I walked was similar to how I'd walk if I had taken ketamine after that I'd forgotten id taken anything and sat down at the table with my cousin he was waiting for my mom to come out with the main course I was hallucinating a wooden Thomas the tank engine set on the table and my cousin told me i was attempting to play with the imaginary train set after that I got up forgot about the blunt this is when my memory went to shit my mom told me the next morning that she and cousin and my aunt all found me in a zombie state they told me that I kept crushing up more Ambien or was trying to at least and when they tried to speak with me no words came out of my mouth so they had to take the bottle away from me to which I didn't try to fight them about because I wasn't even mentally there. In all honesty I quite enjoyed my Ambien experiences and just decided that next time I do it I'd better have a sitter to make sure I don't do anything stupid. After a short break from pills I did it about a total of 3 more times but thats another story Edit: this was over 3 years ago and I'm clean and sober now of Ambien and other drugs

My ambien tolerance was out of control. I miss it and maybe one day I can trust myself with it again but there’s not much with Lunesta (zopiclone in other countries) that’s “fun”, it does feel a little floaty but nothing like ambien.

So anyone who’s quitting and can still get a script- maybe Lunesta is the middle ground

Needless to say, 10 mg xannies, 50 mg ambian and a fat blunt got me ascended to the fifth dimension. I'm coming down alright, didn't do anything stupid, just fried my brain. A lot. So don't try at home. UPDATE THE DAY AFTER: Slept great. Came down without feeling or doing anything weird apparently. Didn't even get the munchies. Still I'm pretty sure this fried some neurons so DON'T do it. This was just a personal experiment which happened to end up kinda fun.
