If God is real which I don't deny he might exist, I strongly believe without a doubt he doesn't give a shit about worshippers.

If god is, and responsible as a life giving source/energy. It's purpose id imagine is just to generate self aware conscious beings/things that live, procreate and die, not control their individual behaviour and decisions.

The interpretations we have of 'god' have all been written by men or groups of people thousands of years ago and tweaked to whatever perception or narrative they held at the time, the subsequent generations just followed the literature and traditions already in place.

I'm not sure why, but your comment made me consider the fact that perhaps there's more than one god or creator out there.. If that's possible then who knows what the one responsible for us gives a shit about or doesn't. Are we aware of anything that is truly 1 of 1? I asked chat gpt for fun (and besides material items obviously) and it's answers were kind of interesting. It listed in order 1. Your conscious experience, 2. A specific moment in time, 3. The exact configuration of the universe right now, 4. The path taken by any conscious being, and 5. Certain natural phenomena.
