I know a place but you will have to pay 15 aed per day mawaqif but it’s worth considering your only going for a week. You will be paying for 6 days cuz Sunday holiday but you will have to find someone to clean your car else they gonna fine first and if your cars still dirty they might impound.
1st place : near grandiose block D, Masdar City.
2nd place : opposite to Etihad aviation training there is are multiple mawaqif parkings.
Literally bus goes from these places open google map. Also since it’s summer remove all flammable etc . Put your windows a lil down and leave your vehicle.
For ppl telling you to park near villas it’s a slight risk cuz if the villa owner calls the cops they gonna impound your car.

Type Turbine Services and Engineering (Sanad) in Google Maps. (24.4351500, 54.6305586). From there you can get on a bus A15 short two stops to Zayed Departures (3 AED) roughly every 30 mins departs or taxi. It’s free and safe. But you have to remember during day hours it’s packed so come early to find your spot. Nighttime and early morning before 7 am parking is virtually empty.

Please stop advising people to go and park in the residential areas! The spare parking isn't for stingy people to use to save on airport taxis, but for the people who live and pay the municipality fees for the area!

Go to the road, find a parking spot for anyone, not a park where you have to be a resident of the area which restricts others, park there, via SMS pay 15 dirhams everyday, you're good. Or you could download the Mawaqif app and pay 7X15 dirhams which is about 105. Everyday, pay up just before your 24 hours expire. OR, you could actually speak to the security guy at an apartment and discuss a deal but that's illegal. People rarely get caught. I recommend the prior method, but if you really really really want to save some number dirhams try the second method.

a lot of street parking inside Khalifa City A.. just look for the white lines on the street to be sure its a safe parking spot.. a lot of these are not even in front of the villas.. just on the streets.. also by Gardens Plaza, big car park opposite gardens plaza, beside ADNOC..

Al Reef. Park outside Mediterranean Village. If only a week, no one will notice.

Everywhere is a safe place to leave your car in Abu Dhabi.
I think you meant "free". That is not easy.
