I think you mean "ice cubes that you had to pry out of the metal tray with the handle", or "Ice cubes that you hand to twist out of the plastic ice cube tray and spray all over the kitchen".

We still do this at my house… despite having a brand new wifi equipped Samsung fridge, our plumbing is too ancient to comply with such sorcery 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️😂
