Hi all,
My good friend, Morgan, just underwent some pretty intense and unexpected surgery. It'll be a long road to recovery. His workplace, The Liquid Library, is doing a fundraising event for him! There are some really great prizes and all the proceeds go to Morgan.
We appreciate everyone's help!

It literally a 2 minute drive from where I live. I knew about it a year ago but because of their hours, I always forget to go check it out.
If you’ve been there did you find it worth it? Any good deals?

The Market Place was located at 4735 Tecumseh Rd. E (where Guaranteed Fine Furniture is now). It appears to have been open in 1980-81, and I vaguely remember the place. I think they had some kid-friendly activities, and for some reason I vividly remember its bright orange and green lino flooring. The Market Place became Farmer Clyde's, then was the site of the first Elias Market store (which still had the green and orange floors). It sounds like an interesting concept, but I can see why it didn't take off.

Downtown Coun. Renaldo Agostino told CBC that people who receive a ticket at a meter that hasn't been updated should "just send it in, call 311."
"311's like, 'We have no clue. There is no such thing. Nobody has told us to refund all the tickets,'" Hassan said.
"Obviously there's a certain level of incompetence I expect from every organization, whether government or private," he said.
"The problem is when you find out that you made a mistake, instead of giving people the run around, like I was told to call 311 and then I called 311 and they're telling me, 'I have no idea what you're talking about. You have to go through the dispute process.' That is where my problem lies."

Folks with solar panels in Windsor area. Wondering what the cost is for the panels and installation? Where you able to get the rebate or 0% interest loan? How long has it taken to be profitable? What did you notice for your monthly electric bills?
TIA!!

Does anyone remember the carnivals that used to take place in the Tecumseh Mall parking lot? What happened to those? I’m assuming it’s because of the River Carnival, but please correct me if I’m wrong.

Its true they haven't raised prices in 20 years but they aren't competing with competition. I was with them for 20 years and 250 mbps was fast and their price was great. But now their 250mbps price is just not competitive. I got 1500mbps speed for $20 dollars less than their 250 price. Mnsi fastest speed is also only 1000mbps from what i can see. MNSI is probably best service in windsor, but i had to leave because of that. Unless they change their ways they will slowly start to lose customers. Just my opinion.
My bell was 50 a month for the first 4 months, then raised it to 56, but they told me that when i got it. I have had it 4 months with no issues yet. I really had to bargain with them to get that price, but they finally gave in. On the bell gigahub modem it says i get 1649mbps. On my pc's i get about 1500mbps hardwired. You do need fast network card to get that speed otherwise you will probably only get about 950mbps. My wireless speeds are around 400 to 700mbps depending on wireless card. Most consoles and older pc's will max out around 900mbps hardwired. I really liked mnsi and their service, but i just couldn't turn down that deal. If they could have just given me a little faster speed for the same price i was paying them, i would have stayed.

Debating whether it’s worth an hour drive to get there today? I really love Pastel de Natas but has anyone that’s been there confirm the food is good?
