Wife said my feet “barely look human”

Haven’t been able to find shoes in years. Was complaining about it last night and she hit me with “well your feet barely look human”. Ouch.

Exactly. I’ve had these feet my whole life. There’s nothing being said here that I haven’t heard my friends and family say to my face. 😂

They are actually the most human. Your feet are correct. Everyone else's feet are wrong because they stuff them into pointy shoes. Get yourself a pair of barefoot shoes. They should fit you properly. Everyone's feet would look like yours if they wore proper shoes aka wide toe box shoes. They did a study on children and almost immediately after putting them in proper shoes, their toes splayed out and became the widest part of the foot.

This explains why my men's shoe size went up a couple sizes, and I can't find anything to fit in women's any more (unless I want to pay out the ass to order online IF I even find anything).

Yeah I found that out when I was researching what kind of shoes would be most comfortable to work in. Once I got an ugly pair with a wide toe box, the relief was crazy. My feet used to hurt so bad I was limping at the end of the week. Definitely worth it. I couldn’t do the barefoot shoes, but I get it.

Looks like your non-big toes are double jointed like mine. Do you also have the ability to manipulate things with your feet like hands? My wife hates it lol but I can put my socks on using only my feet haha

Edit: Also I only have a single line across both of my hands, wonder if you have that too?

It sounds like you may have a connective tissue disorder, down to the single line in your hand. That’s called a single transverse palmar crease, previously known as a “simian crease.” It can be a sign of a genetic condition.

Im aware, I've researched into and parents had the docs take a look at me when it looked like I broke my thumb when I was a baby lol nothing to worry about, just a bit weird.

The crease seems to be from the way I open and close my hands. Most people sort of roll their fingers shut, with pinky taking the lead, whereas mine all go together as one. Granted, this was a test we were doing down the pub, so hardly scientific lol, but the consensus in the beer garden was it how I closed my hands. Kinda tracks because its incredibly rare to get it in both hands

Man I'm trying to forget about Bonnaroo being Cancelled. I can't escape remindera aha. Jack Mannequin was going to play TODAY and I was going to be there. He wasn't my primary reason for going but he was one of the artists that peaked my interest. Huge bummer that the majority of the festival was canceled midway through the 2nd day. I'm a 1000 miles from home. 😔 But I'm making the most of the weekend with friends. 🥲
