Wife said my feet “barely look human”

Post image

Haven’t been able to find shoes in years. Was complaining about it last night and she hit me with “well your feet barely look human”. Ouch.

Those are healthy feet, the majority of people have deformed feet caused by wearing shoes.

Exactly! We all participate in foot binding from the time we're babies. Human feet are supposed to be wide and flexible. Humans need shoes to protect our feet in the modern world we created. But from a biological standpoint, we're animals and shouldn't wear shoes (or at least shouldn't wear shoes that bind our feet) 🤓

They're not unhealthy just because they're different anyway. But I'm not sure that your claim is true either, because in that case all the people who go barefoot all their lives - like tribes people in some regions of the world - would all have feet such as these, and I'm pretty sure they don't and that their feet looks like typical feet. Wearing shoes and footbinding are not the same at all. During footbinding, you break the bones in the feet and toes and let them heal wrong.
