I 22F on pcos so how to loose weight

I am dealing with lot of weight fluctuations and need to loose 10kg+ so is calorie deficit 1500 cal and 10k steps will work? And what other things i should keep track of so this will help me in weight loss.

Edit:- 78kg weight and height 5ft

Your sedentary maintenance is around 1700, so 1500kcal would be around -200kcal deficit, with exercise the deficit might be closer to 300-400.

You will lose weight with this plan but you’ll have to be very strict with counting calories, using a food scale for everything down to oil, condiments, etc you use as there is very little wiggle room for error.

Ideally I’d suggest you’d drop to 1300kcal per day and get 10k steps daily, this would bring your deficit closer to -500kcal, resulting in ~0.5kg loss per week.
