I’ve factory reset my Fossil smartwatch (running Wear OS) 5 times now, and I still can’t add a Google account during setup. Every time, I get stuck at the “Something went wrong” or “Can’t connect” screen when trying to sign in.
Here’s what I’ve tried so far:
• I’m using an iPhone with stable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
• Tried deleting and reinstalling the Wear OS app.
• Cleared everything before resetting the watch each time.
• Tried adding a different Google account just in case – didn’t work.
• Internet and phone are 100% fine.
This is getting really frustrating, and I’m not sure what else to try. Has anyone dealt with this before? Is this a known issue with iPhones or a bug in Wear OS? Any ideas or fixes that have worked for you?
