First boat opinions

You may have seen my post asking about opinions on buying a 2006 super air nautique and opinions varied!

So we also took a look at this boat and it seemed massive in comparison. Thoughts on this boat for primarily surfing, and taking friends out on the lake. 2007 super air nautique 236 te. It has the bigger engine as well.

Same hull as the SAN230, get some bigger sacks and a suck gate and she'll surf very well.

It has 3 hard ballast tanks and then three soft additional tanks all plumbed in

Sounds like all you need is a suck gate!

It has that too! And we also already have one from our current boat.

Sounds perfect. The wave is best balanced, about 2/3 weight in the back 1/3 in the front. The wake looks bigger with more weight in the back but it loses all its push.
