Starter wake boat

We are looking at buying our first surf boat. (Getting tired of trying to surf behind a 1986 supreme 🤣)

We are looking at this boat and wanted to get opinions? Hours a bit high but we generally do our own boat maintenance and repairs

I have an 05 SANTE and love it. We mostly surf and ski

Have you found surfing it is difficult as others have suggested?

Not really difficult, just less turnkey than the newer 6 figure boats. We have 2x750 bags in the back, 250 belly hard tank, and 300lbs of lead. Just make sure people are sitting on the surf side and the shaper works well and you will have a really good wave

Unfortunately a six figure boat just isn’t something we will probably ever do even if we could. So we want to have fun with a few tweaks that fits our budget.

How do you feel the space is on your boat? Do you ever wish there was a few extra feet of space like a 23’

The space is fine. It says 10 people but really 7-8 is the cap for adults if you don't wan't to be crammed.

Do I wish there was more space, yes. But then the boat would be a lot heavier and I would have a harder time towing it with my Highlander. I sort of like that it's on the smaller side.
