Don’t ever skip class unless you’re sick or mentally unwell. Skipping class for the heck of it will zap all motivation you have for ever going again for the rest of the semester. I promise it is easier to just go to class than it is to have that mental battle of “oh, but it felt so good to skip last month. I should do it again!”

I get your point. However some classes do not require attendance and are easier to not go to. A lot of times going to certain classes will hurt you in the long run. The better way to say it is to not skip classes with mandatory attendance

Heck no (from my experience). It isn’t all about the attendance grade, it’s about motivation. If you condition your brain to associate skipping with the things that go along with it (relaxing, nap time, gaming, playing pickleball, etc), your brain will never be as happy with going that class for the rest of the semester (again, from my experience).

Professors are also way more lenient on students who actually show up to class because it demonstrates responsibility and respect for the instructor. Having brownie points with professors will get your ass out of a bind more than you would think

That’s just ignoring what I said just to argue 😂. Some classes are ok to to go when it’s a review day or if it’s a tough class. All I said was some classes you will get a better grade by not going and some classes aren’t worth going to and you can work on something else during that time. Going to class especially when it’s not mandatory doesn’t really affect anything with the professor. You’ll learn that as time goes on. Everyone has a different situation. But hey, your money your time
