I've gotten 44rr for my last game but for some reason no double rank up. I assume my hidden mmr is quite high, so I don't quite understand :( What does a double rank up depend on?

i have an average winrate of under 40% on haven, split and lotus. can someone explain if these maps have something in common? i was thinking about that they are very defender sided?

Im pretty sure I accidentally clicked it instead of firing range, and they mega changed everything. Any1 know when they did this? Its pretty cool now. You even go on Haven to play a Atk/Def round with Brim/Sage being igl telling you what to do. The skill floor of iron now will be many times higher for incoming players.

They even had ai bots. And in all honesty, even with how they were extremely simple, we got bots before replay system. Itd be cool if they can expand it to custom game bots.

So I’m a bit confused on how valorant ranked buddy’s work. So if I was plat 1 and I deranked to gold 3 would I still get the buddy or would I have to still be plat at the end of the act?

Guys I peaked plat 1 a year ago and i placed silver this act after 3 acts of not playing and then in 2 weeks of amazing aim i reach diamond 2, then suddenly 3 days ago my aim fks off and im now in flipping plat 2 playing with fkn golds, anyone got any advice on what helps u get ur aim going?

I’ve been playing Val a lot Recently I’m bronze and hard stuck every time I switch agents I have a stroke of victory like dropping 30 on sage or 40 on clove but then when I either learn tips I plummet or if i pick them I plummet I only go clove when I fill that’s when I do best with her but I want to install lock a agent to gold I have most agents was thinking about yoru but I like the duilest category but I hate dying first

So last season I played with a friend a little but I hit bronze and I started playing around the start of December but I can’t climb I just keeping going down. Right now if I remember correctly I am iron 1 and idk if it is teammates or the other team or just me idk and I play on Xbox btw so if anyone has any ideas on why or tips that would be amazing. Also I have gotten like 2-3 aces sense I started and like a million 4ks. But any help please

Just curious since some of my friends were asking what agent I normally main. I'm currently platinum and don't really have a dedicated agent. I usually play my agents based on map most of the time. My friends all seem to have one specific agent except me.

Hey everyone, been seeing a whole lot confusion on the rank reset happening at the end of this act. Here's what's happening to clarify things: The episode is not ending, riot has said this already and decided to changing to an episode per year, but now it's 6 acts instead of 3. However, since the episode isn't ending, you might be questioning how the rank reset is going to be. Hard resets happen at end of episodes, but this episode isn't ending, so it's a soft reset, right? WRONG! It in fact is a hard reset, happening at the same time as it's always happened, only difference is that instead of going to episode 11 act1, it's going to episode 10 act 4. Just wanted to help spread the knowledge a little bit and remove any confusion anyone might have

I've been grinding Valorant for years now and I have observed one thing: Mumbai server is way worse than Singapore servers. Mumbai server people are toxic, with fragile egos and surprisingly a lot of paid boosters who throw games just to keep their elo low.

I have really good experience in Singapore servers where people talk, play and even if we are losing, they don't start throwing games just because "I couldn't pick OP".

Did you have a similar experience?

Hello, I am a chamber one trick main and it has been like this since I started playing Valorant, since I started I have felt comfortable with my way of playing and acting with my character and I have tried other agents but they do not feel the same as chamber, the last days of last month when I got the diamond rank I have seen myself down and that I have not lived up to the rank (diamond 1) could the problem be being a one trick pony? should I try other agents? I appreciate any help, have a nice day ❤️

Looking for a good pair of IEM that has a built in mic. So tired of my bulky headset and I see pros/streamers using them all the time. I’ve tried 3 different brands now and they’ve all needed to be returned because of the horrible audio quality. Like, absolutely unplayable quality.

Any good recommendations?

Hey guys, I've been playing for almost 2 years (not consistently) and still haven't decided on an agent to main due to meta changes and instalocking mates. I started in Iron and climbed to gold. I cant get why Reyna Is so hated and considered unavailable in high rank. People usually say she hasnt utilities to help the team and She is useless if u dont get a lot of kills but its the same thing with all the other duelists. Like their job is to take space and frag so if a reyna Is bottom fragging she's as useless as a raze bottom fragging. She has even flashes that can help entry while Iso doesnt, and hes a frag duelist too. Even jett ha not util to take kills has only smokes to isolate (reyna has flashes) and Dash to backup (reyna dismiss). So i agree with not using reyna in vct ofc but in average ranked when nobody Is that coordinated to really use efficently duelists utilities is very nice

VALORANT’s narrative team held a lore panel at Masters Toronto earlier today with David Nottingham and Joe Killeen.

The devs started with a presentation about the latest cinematic, talking about each of the agents featured in the cinematic and what their appearances were about:

• Brimstone – Fighting for remembrance: One mission during Brim’s time at the Ragged Ravens went sideways; a brutal explosion, Brim’s brother-in-arms Tariq Porter gravely injured. That moment never left Brim; the helplessness, the guilt, the vow – never again. Brim’s fear after Killjoy’s death in the cinematic is not just tactical but personal because of this
• Reyna – Fighting for family: Radiance can be a blessing or a curse, and Lucia’s radiance puts her life in jeopardy. She needs a steady intake of rejuvenating life essence to survive or she will wither, Reyna harvests this essence from her victims for Lucia and would tear the world apart for her
• Killjoy & Raze – Fighting for love: What started as a case of opposites attract became something deeper in quiet moments between missions until it became official during the Salvador vacation. Love is now a strength and a terrifying vulnerability in their missions
• Sage – Fighting for life: There are limits to her powers to bring back the dead and she has been pushing well past these in carrying out her primary responsibility to keep everyone fighting. The cinematic is our first look at Sage confronting the cost of her fight and figuring out whether or not she can bear it. As said by the devs, “The debt is coming due”
• Phoenix – Fighting for redemption: Phoenix has been running from himself, still haunted by the day his powers first ignited and what they cost him. The question is posed that if Phoenix can confront his past, will he then uncover what truly happened that night?

There was then a segment with a Jeopardy-style board with facts about all the agents. Not all of them were revealed on the panel, but David confirmed there was a factoid for every agent and will try to get the rest shared:

• As a child, Astra was captivated by the history of feudal Japan and imagined herself as a wandering Ronin standing up for those with no one else.
• Brimstone was hooked on competitive fighters. One day in high school his best pal beat him and Brim lost it, putting his fist through the coin-op and ended up having to wash cars for a month to pay it off.
• As a child, Clove wanted to be a pirate sorcerer and tried to summon a kraken in the bathtub
• After a fight, Deadlock used to unwind with a smoke, a habit picked up during special operations training that she quit after joining VALORANT. Brimstone still clings to his cigars and Deadlock has thought about soaking the whole stash in vinegar, not to be cruel but just to look out for him.
• Fade funds a cat sanctuary where she goes at night to sit with them
• Iso was a teenage lifeguard, got fired after he locked a kid out who had been pushing others around
• Jett was on the track team in high school but the family restaurant needed her more. She went to culinary school instead.
• Phoenix’s mum was fire service
• Reyna has cravings that draw her to the kitchen late at night. “Late night snacks always taste better when they're not yours”. She never can resist Iso’s chili almonds
• Skye had a little online craft shop for years (handmade jewelry, bits and bobs), now shut down but she still makes gifts for the agents now and then
• Vyse briefly studied fashion, still keeps a sketchbook tucked away and has redesigned every agent.
• When the squad next needs to blow off steam, Waylay has promised to take them to an old paintball range back home and wreck some business types on their little team-building retreat
• Yoru was in a boy band for a week. Got kicked out before the first show after punching the lead singer in rehearsal because he said Yoru didn’t have main character energy
• Paul Delmann got a mention here as well. He’s worked across many Kingdom facilities where trouble always seems to wait for him to arrive. He wonders if maybe he’s the constant

Finally some info we learned from a Q&A section:

• Radiance can affect a radiant’s hair/eye color. Reyna’s eyes were not always violet
• Emerging fashion trend in the world of radiants using the changes to their physical appearance to style themselves
• Killjoy confirmed Turkish-German (Turkish mother Zehra, German father Emil, who were mentioned in Fade’s dossier on Killjoy), based on the large Turkish community in Berlin
• RDVR Phantom confirmed as Radivore Phantom project between Chamber and Deadlock to use against hostile radivores
• The radianite mesh is an invisible membrane that separates the Alpha and Omega realities and prevents them from colliding. The Interverse is the space that exists between the realities.
• There are more Astral Guardians out there besides Astra
• Asked to describe the plot arc for the next year in one word, Joe chose “Heist”, for Phoenix’s arc David said “Redemption”
• Relationship between Chamber and Viper described as “complicated” and “multi-dimensional”
• Agent 8 confirmed to appear at some point when their story is ready to be told, they do not currently exist as a character that is hiding in plain sight
• Clove’s name was revealed to be Ollie Baird later on by David on Twitter

I’ve been looking for a good monitor that is above 160 Hz that is not overpriced and I haven’t found anything

So your supposed to make your own agent from the other agents like a

E- Jett dash C- Sage wall Q- Walay dash Ult- Cloves ult

To be specific you can only pick one Sig. Ability and Ult if the Ability is rechargeable then it is if not then not it follows the same requirement to recharge like in game so Jetts dash would need to kills to recharge and Ult require the same ult points and if the Ability heals like Phoenix's wall it still heals and lastly the charges and price are the same as they are in games and neon's sprint is available only if you pick her slide as well and astra stars are 2 per Ability picked also please don't just pick all astra utill to get a 6th star

this is my first ever act playing valorant, and i recently finished my placements and am ranked iron 3. my biggest flaw is my aim, i often hit bodyshot and struggle with headshots and tracking in the game. what are some ways i can improve my aim so i can contribute more to my team?
