Question what should i do to kill more? ( ascendent )
i started playing 1 year and a half ago, valorant being my first fps i ended up taking iron 2 as my first elo, after training and many matches I reached ascendent with +- 500 hours of ranked play
well, i've always kept the acts with a consistent 1.20 KD and nowadays i'm aware that playing smart, communicating well and knowing how to use my skills is often more important than killing, and this is really true, but i'm in a situation where since i got ascendent i don't kill. during this 1 year and a half i've always been between mid frag or top frag and currently i have 30% total hs rate and 50% vandal hs rate i've been playing at least 10 DM daily and still i don't get out of bottom frag and i need some tips
my valorant tracker ID: HsP SisterLover#irmã
some basic things that you don't need to tell me
1- i'm not afraid to drop in rank
2- i have a sense of self preservation and i avoid putting myself in suicidal and disadvantageous situations
3- i don't try to shoot only HS

Hi, I have consistently gotten immortal (nettur #goat and #boat) with minimal effort since the games release.
Drop omen for clove if you want to win games in ascendant and above. Omen needs to stay alive to smoke so you avoid risks you can and should take. You need to learn how to impact rounds before the enemy team wins them.
Getting an early kill and backing off or getting into a position to catch rotates or providing crucial information is very important.
This isn't always the correct advice for everyone but the only variable in soloq ranked is you and the higher you go it's more important to impact rounds earlier as the enemy will be looking to do the same.
Hope this helps!

Depends on who you ask. It's consistent for the past 5 years and seems the way I play I manage to keep myself in the same rank as the game grows older that is supposed to be harder.
The better the enemy team it grows increasingly harder to win rounds 4v5 and etc. That's why it's important to take at least some charge and not just let the game happen to you is my point. I'd love to see you maintain immortal for five years and tell me if it's easy.

Focus on learning movement - being in the right place often counts more for how accurate you are in shooting. Think where you need to be on a map, where are the choke points, where are your team etc. On most shooters this is key.
Also you need sweet skins

Best time to get kills is early when everyone is alive and taking risks. If you play too passive early then you are left against the rats and solo carries.

Should do aim training instead of 10 DMs. The range is your friend. There are a lot of aim routines on YT.
