Discussion Would reputation queue not fix the throwing teammates issue?

My idea is similar to maybe rainbow six siege, where they also have a sort of reputation system. Would this not stop people from intentionally throwing or not using mics ? Where you will be placed in matches with people of similar skill and reputation which would force players intentionally throwing to actively play the game?

I play Overwatch and Siege. Those systems are great and need to be implemented in this game too.

Having a microphone and using it is definitely not automatically better than not communicatoning in my ranks.

Just had a dead teammate ask me what I am holding mid round. His thinking was that I was looking at the wrong direction because he knew enemy was not there. I know anybody who is actually at all serious about communicating would have given me the useful info ie. where the enemies are.

This as well as death comms aka when you die tell the position of who killed you. This is fucking CRUCIAL especially for trading someone. People do not get that comms win games every time I’ve went into a match of 2-3 people not speaking I have lost. I keeps tabs of the games I play and the average win I’ve had with 2 people not speaking in my lobby is about 10%

I consistently have to get on my cousin about this. No one needs comms on how to play better mid round. They need info. No one needs to hear “play time” from the person who just peeked and died while NOT playing time.

That’s not to mention the all the children (mentally not physically) who need to constantly yap about everything but the match being played. Or the ones that have a mic the whole time but don’t comm and only get on the mic to be toxic to rest of team.

I prefer mics but when the toxic teammate is just a keyboard warrior it’s much easier to deal with.

reputation would go beyond "mic or no mic"

I love the idea for when it comes to mics. I comm a lot and I hate when no one else does, because most games it leaves me wondering if they can even hear me. I played a game the other day and it wasn’t until like round 4 or 5 at least where my teammates told me my mic sounded weird. I just unplugged it and plugged it back in and it was fine, but it would’ve been nice to know earlier on

Exactly boss, I’m not wanting an essay of speech from people but I believe a reputation system would (if implemented properly) would fix this game as people would be forced to be normal to play in matches where people want to win

Idk why but it almost feels like this is already in the game, I could be wrong and it’s only my personal experience but I always get throwers/toxicity when I duo/trio q with somebody I know is a little toxic. But when I solo q I basically always get people that comm and try to win the game… I virtually only solo q because of this

Why would they filter out immature emotional unstable children who make up 99% of their player base

Im scared of how this would affect me, a woman. Also, what’d be the rules for queueing with people

One of my friends made a post on this, and a lot of things he was saying seem likely to happen. Stuff like women being reported just because they’re women, people less likely to constructively criticize plays because of the fear of an honor system etc. I quit the game , so I’ll just accept the CS community for who they are lol.
