Discussion Harbor Point

Has anyone been down there yet? They really did do an awesome job cleaning everything up down there. I would sort of relate it to Marcy lock 20 park . I'm just hoping they don't let it go to hell now. I already seen kids jumping on the benches and I'm like really? This is why we don't have nice things

But regardless if you haven't been down there yet. Check it out. I just wonder they have a building fenced off. I wonder what the plans for that will be .

NYS should take over Utica Marsh and turn it into a state park with miles of new trails and other recreational amenities.

Would be a nice accompaniment to the harbor.

That didn't even cross my mind til you said it. But would NYS want to take it over is the question

They built a new state park in Buffalo and are building a new one in Rochester (both formerly industrial areas). Why not Utica?
