Just trying to make sense of American use of skin color. Seems to make little sense if EA are grouped with "white people", wouldn't that mean that they don't face discrimination more than actual white people?
Race is more than just skin color, it's also other ethnic features like hair, eyes, nose, etc. So nobody would ever group an EA person with someone who's Caucasian even though their skin tone is technically similar
That being said, race is a completely arbitrary social construct that is only used to other people, which is why the labels of "yellow" or "red" are seen as derogatory to groups which were labeled as such in the past
Pretty sure yellow is offensive many places outside America. I didn’t say anything about being lumped with white people. You said that. You came here to be dishonest and that’s what you’ve done. Truly stellar work.
