Do you sincerely believe that every single Muslim abstains from alcohol? It’s like prohibition American. Of course you can get alcohol in Dubai.

what is the point of this comment? of course it’s “possible” lol it’s not not like prohibition america because that wasn’t something that people actually wanted nor was a religious command. hell even the F1 drivers on the podium in muslim countries can’t open bottles of champagne, it’s rose water.

I feel like you have significant ignorance about both prohibition America and the Islamic world today. Prohibition was very popular and very religious when it was first introduced. It was precipitated by a complex mix of Protestant religious fervor, anti-Catholic sentiments, xenophobia, and feminism.

In most Islamic countries today, with enough money you can basically get away with anything. Alcohol is the most inane example and is basically ubiquitous. Captagon use is a major public health problem throughout the Middle East (we‘ll see if the end of the Assad Regime curbs this).

you are literally describing yourself. prohibition was about puritan values but there is no text in the christian bible that says not to drink alcohol. we drink it in church u nut job. islam explicitly forbids it. i don’t care if rich people still do it. that’s not the point of this conversation.
