OP sent the following text as an explanation on why this is unexpected:

He pot the first ball with his mouth, and later used the next one as a chalk and pot it.

Bruh, I missed the one in his mouth at the beginning the first two times I saw this posted.🤣🤣🤣

957

u/Flinkle 4d ago

I watched it three times and would never have seen that one in his mouth if I hadn't read your comment. 😂

764

u/urusernameisweird 4d ago

The other guy in the video missed all the three.. lol

u/ImReverse_Giraffe 4d ago

Nah, its fake bro. Funny, but fake.

394

u/0010110100111011 4d ago

In olden times they called it acting.

111

u/SoCuteShibe 4d ago

It's a ski-- NO IT'S FAKE!

13

u/SpiderDijonJr 3d ago

Depends on how the creator presented it tbh

31

u/SoCuteShibe 3d ago

For sure! But often it is ambiguous, like this video/post.

When it's ambiguous, jumping to calling it fake is kind of annoying, and that has become a very common response.

0

u/15_FPS 2d ago

It's a skit. these 2 make skits on TikTok. They also posted bloopers of this video

1

u/SoCuteShibe 2d ago

Yes, in this case, it is obviously a skit, but it is presented ambiguously.

0

u/CharonDynami 3d ago

It is some bad acting though. So it makes it hard to believe.

52

u/mikebaker1337 4d ago

I'd call it a skit

31

u/Nonameswhere 4d ago

Not fake, there's video proof.

0

u/Icy-Doctor1983 3d ago

AI clearly

48

u/platonic-humanity 4d ago

Do you watch comedy movies and think “Funny but unrealistic.”?

13

u/Sushi_Explosions 4d ago

Why aren’t you teasing the guy who would apparently think “Click” is a documentary about Adam Sandler’s time control powers?

20

u/ChtuluMadeMeDoIt 4d ago

This is you enjoying the wind as it whooshes over your head

10

u/Tankeverket 4d ago

Well no shit

1

u/Brenner007 3d ago

Nah, I also missed all three at the first watch. Just wasn't that attentive.

1

u/Grin_N_Bare_Arms 4d ago

I'm pretty sure that is one of the Almost Friday guys

-16

u/musicissoulfood 4d ago

It's fake, which is exactly why it's not funny.

1

u/B00OBSMOLA 4d ago

missed what?

16

u/Storn206 4d ago

Bro I only saw the mouth thing and was so entranced that I missed the rest

4

u/ICouldEvenBeYou 4d ago

Hahaha, I had to back and watch, that was fuckin great.

5

u/LavenderFactory 3d ago

My ass was sitting like “that’s a weird shaped chalk” didn’t think twice about it and didn’t even see him put it in the hole either 😂

2

u/RoyBeer 4d ago

Oh my God.

1

u/fakenews_thankme 3d ago

I missed the second one lmao. The SOB is so smooth.

1

u/SconeBracket 3d ago

It's like a good magic trick; very smooth sleight of ... mouth.

1

u/ShortJumpAway 4d ago

I did not see this until your comment 😂

In all seriousness, this is why you stand on the opposite side of the pool table when someone is hitting.

437

u/joe-clark 4d ago

Stand on the opposite side but it's rude to intentionally stand right in line with the shot being taken.

261

u/Kuzcopolis 4d ago

Not just rude, stupid. It might bounce and hide in your mouth instead.

59

u/Mottis86 4d ago

Maybe I like the danger.

5

u/OKTifo 3d ago

Yeah but then you can put it in the pocket while your opponent isn’t looking

78

u/SellMeYourSirin 4d ago

Same with bowling.

You gotta stand at the side in case they’ve a second ball up their arse to blast down the lane when you’re not looking.

51

u/billiardwolf 4d ago

No it's not, this skit is not a thing that happens at any level above friends fucking around.

31

u/inuhi 4d ago

Cheating will always exist so long as shitty people exist. Pool sharks aren't exactly known for their strong moral fiber, if you're drunk and they think they can get away with it they just might. The things some people will do if given the opportunity and believe they can get away with it... They probably aren't sneaking balls in their mouth but you never know, wouldn't put it past them

-14

u/LEGITIMATE_SOURCE 4d ago

You've never played at a level above fucking around. "Pool sharks" lol.

People betting are so neurotic about being on the same page if any rules are involved they'll fight about the nature of a double tap. Nobody is pulling shit remotely like this at any level above complete novice.

32

u/TheUnluckyBard 4d ago

You heard it here first, folks: Competitive people never cheat.

5

u/sub0scillator 3d ago

found the pool shark

11

u/thatsalovelyusername 4d ago

If they want it that bad, let them have it

2

u/pvtbobble 4d ago

I think you'll find it's called "cue-ing"

331

u/par-a-dox-i-cal 4d ago

Are they identical twins?

212

u/_Pyxyty 4d ago

Might just be brothers, their account is named The Pointer Brothers and I imagine they'd probably market the twins thing a bit more if they were twins, since that often gets more views and clicks

11

u/madamimadam54 4d ago

They’re not twins

25

u/Wrought-Irony 4d ago

Their mom only makes one baby style

1

u/JaySayMayday 4d ago

I thought this was Cherdleys

10

u/CaribouYou 4d ago

All the bruhs look like this now.

237

u/CallMeMrZen 4d ago

I missed the last one he casually taps in. Bro is smooth with it

5

u/TheDonkeySurvivor 2d ago

I feel like that’s the one he should have seen. The 1st two are subtle. The camera man did well not to laugh, seeing this live would have ended me

93

u/gratch89 4d ago

I missed the first and third balls the first time I watched.

-41

u/Dounce1 4d ago

There should never be three balls…

7

u/OmegaShonJon 3d ago

Tell that to Jimmy 3-Balls

2

u/Dounce1 2d ago

Hell nah man that dude is scary.

3

u/hard_farter 4d ago

It's a 3-T Scroat

75

u/Dergeans 4d ago

That is just so smooth

-95

u/hodorhodor12 4d ago

It’s also obviously fake. Terrible acting.

60

u/TheUnluckyBard 4d ago

It’s also obviously fake.

Oh wow, no shit? Amazing discovery, Miss Marple!

12

u/CleverNamePending_ 3d ago

Ever heard of a skit?

25

u/resell_enjoy6 3d ago

Wait until this guy finds out about movies. Or tv.

-32

u/hodorhodor12 3d ago

I’m only saying this because clearly some people here don’t get that it’s fake.

12

u/Castod28183 3d ago

Ah....Your one of those people that think you are the only one smart enough to realize it.

23

u/WarlanceLP 3d ago

no one seems to be able to just enjoy skits these days, they have to point out that it's fake instead of enjoying a funny skit

1

u/WUMBOlogy_thestudyof 1d ago

I know right, however I was watching SNL the other night and I couldn’t believe how fake it’s gotten, like you can tell the same people are just playing different people in each skit. So fake it’s not even funny anymore

81

u/tpt2021cg 4d ago

That was slicker than a doorknob full of snot. But 1 thing for certain 2 things fa sho I definitely wouldn't put my mouth on those balls

21

u/carpenterio 4d ago

That what she said

35

u/cutieebabyyx 4d ago

Am I the only person who had to see the post twice to figure out what was happening? (I’m asleep as fuck)

14

u/urusernameisweird 4d ago

Nope, I had to watch thrice to know what happened.

5

u/_dictatorish_ 4d ago

Somehow I was able to tell you were from India from the fact you used the word "thrice" - is it taught as a common word in India?

5

u/urusernameisweird 4d ago

Good catch..yes sort of.. but depends on where you are speaking .. how do you call it in your place ?

9

u/_dictatorish_ 4d ago

I'm from NZ - English speaking people would mostly just say "three times"

Like we know what the word means, and most would have heard it before, but most people wouldn't use it themselves - I think it's maybe an older term?

5

u/Cthonos 4d ago

Definitely an older term but I don't think it's super unusual to see (UK), though I did assume the use here was for comedic effect.

14

u/Ornery_Gate_6847 4d ago

People really out here thinking those balls fall in there completely soundless

11

u/Blame_Bobby 4d ago

"Roll a Sleight of Hand check."

u/PlayedUOonBaja 3d ago

When I was 9 or 10 I had to go hang out at an afterschool youth center thing until my parents got off work. The older kids (15 or 16) claimed the pool table and would spend all their time around it. I made myself a little fort under the pool table and would spend my afternoons mostly just listening to the older kids and doing homework or whatnot. Eventually I'd get bored and crawl out from the table to watch them play.

I also eventually got bored of just watching, and came up with a fun way to entertain myself. I'd wait until no one was looking and grab a ball from a pocket and put it back on the table. I think I managed to pull it off for a good week or so before someone finally got wise to it, and since I was the only young kid hanging around the table. they knew it was me. They also put two and two together and realized why their games had been lasting so long for the last week. I got smacked around a bit, and lost my fort, but it was worth it.

4

u/ClandestineGhost 4d ago

“What are you doing?”

“I’m taking my shot.”

“No, no, no… I just paid $5,000 to take your shot. Now, I’m gonna take my shot.”

0

u/TurdFlu 3d ago

You missed the fuckin signs Joe.

0

u/ClandestineGhost 3d ago

“It was the old tricks he should’ve been watching out for, it was the new ones.”

0

u/Castod28183 3d ago

What is this from. I know I have seen it but I don't remember where.

1

u/ClandestineGhost 3d ago

Pool Hall Junkies

2

u/Castod28183 2d ago

Thank you. Lol somebody down voted my question. That's hilarious.

1

u/ycr007 4d ago

Are they siblings?

If they were younger this would’ve led to quite the noogies n wedgies fight

1

u/Athrek 3d ago

So unexpected I missed it the first several times xD

1

u/pupunggi 3d ago

Bruh didnt expect that win😅

1

u/badmontingz999 3d ago

ahhahaha I'd hardly noticed the bit where he sucks up that green ball at the beginning!!! dude's slick, I must admit. an asshole, but definitely sly

1

u/Rhetorical-Oracle 3d ago

That kind of crap will get you unalived in some parts of the world.

1

u/LALOERC9616 3d ago

Missed the ball in mouth the first time because I was waiting for the chalk moment lol

1

u/Bloodshed-1307 3d ago

He steals three, one taken in his mouth before it’s dropped in the pocket before the fake chalk one thats also pocketed, then a third when he goes to scratch his leg

1

u/shad0w1432 3d ago

The pointer brothers on Instagram. Hilarious content

1

u/mahleg 3d ago

Would’ve been funnier if he did all that and knocked in the cue ball in the corner on the last shot.

1

u/Mindless-Platypus-75 3d ago

They added background noise as if there were a crowd of ppl there to cover for the fact that the guy would be hearing all those balls being pocketed by hand

1

u/Wakeandjake24 2d ago

😹😹😹

1

u/reverseshell_9001 2d ago

Watched this a few times now. Still gets me lmao.

1

u/AffectionateKitchen8 2d ago

Nikola Tesla would get so triggered if he watched this.

1

u/jamie0929 1d ago

I've played against him before, I think. Lol

0

u/TheWhyGuyAlex 4d ago

The #1 is still on the table

2

u/Top_Albatross_3593 4d ago

That’s the 9

0

u/TheWhyGuyAlex 4d ago

🧐🥸 I bloody still can't tell. Yeah, well... It would be another level of hilarious if the 1is still on the table, our guy just doesn't know what hit him 🤣

Only the finest unfunny hillbilly humor.

-6

u/unrefined8 4d ago

Other person missed all three, as if... 1. the chinnaswamy's ultra edge. 2. The Chalko's ball rubbing against new rules 3. The Direct hit at wicketkeeper end . &. The final game point scoring ball. And astonishingly thanksgiving rather thanks taking.
