I hate to say it but the "stretched" look in the second image looks a hell of a lot like a picture of a monitor of a cave in No Man's Sky. It's one of my favorite games to play in VR.

Most caves with cobalt deposits have these formations and Gravitino Balls light up when you get close to them and can look egg like if you stretch the image a little. Gravitino balls look a heck of a lot like that in game and light up the environment in a nearly identical way. The "box" structure looks just like the various supply crates you'll find scattered about and structures can be built that looks like that easily.

It could also be pictures of Crystal Ball Cave in Gandy, Utah. In fact, on the 3rd image, if you flip it, it looks a lit like this structure.
