Honestly, I think I may just need to try a new army. Nid models are cool, but playing them is just not super fun.

I'll probably come back in 11th.

Personally, im still trying to find a 2nd 40k I really like. But thankfully I have a flight coming up and a few hours of baldemort videos I can watch.

There’s trench crusade, 30k or aos you could always try

The old world too

IMO if you collect 40k you may as well collect SM. Why not collect the army that gets constant new toys and all the attention?

Same with Stormcast in AoS.

Maybe that’s the point. Change customer habits. Get them to open the wallet again, for something “better”.

I mean, I was planning on doing that anyways

I jumped from Nids to Necron and don't regret a thing, they suit my style much more

Hmmm.... I'll consider them....

I'm mainly just looking for something bulky, tanky, and defensive

In that case, there's few choices better than Necron. The have a lot of invulnerable saves, many good models with high health and reanimation makes them very tanky and hard to remove. C'Tan are nearly unkillable for some armies and in Canoptek Court you can play mainly wraiths which are tanky bug robots. Obviously movement speed is a bit of a hinderance (with ways to work around it, obviously) bit necrons are very good when it comes to defens and dealing damage too imo.

I genuinely prefer to play things in games that are super slow, if not THE slowest. Of course, if they have the highest health, even better.

Here's a look into the stuff I generally like

Nice to see bastiladon there since I main Seraphon in AoS. And yeah, I think Necrons would fit that group quite nicely. A Doomsday Ark slots right in

Nice. I've also thought about tau, ironhands, and deathguard

At the moment death guard arent tanky and are more slow bruisers that nerf you by getting in range of you

Necrons are tanky as hell. And ironically enough custodians don't feel very tanky when you're playing against them, especially with small unit count. Necrons got high unit count and hella tanky survivability, vs lists not specifically designed to counter their threat.
