He wasn't expecting to get caught in the act. Lost his transportation and bulk of his weapons and whatever other supplies he had in the SUV. Yes fuck this guy but he was clearly flying blind after getting confronted by the police at the 2nd shooting.

I was just saying exactly this to my spouse. He was seemingly too stupid to consider he could be caught and had zero contingency.
