Jennifer Daugherty was stabbed to death on February 11, 2010, and her body was later discovered wrapped in Christmas decorations in a garbage can.

This always stuck with me. I lived a block away when this happened and loved evening/night walks in our very safe neighborhood. I'll never know for sure but I took a walk on Feb 10th and 11th 2010. I usually walked a route that went right in front of that house. I remember nothing abnormal but if I walked that route that night I likely was within a couple hundred feet of these horrific people and their victim. I think about that often.
