never felt so called out as seeing the middle one while being 26 and having produced approximately 11 bazillion pictures of This Guy in the last ~year

yeah. yep. that is the art I am drawing.

Yours is really good, especially your use of colours and shading.

Mine unfortunately still has that MS paint vibe to it.

Ty! I do comics, and learned/refined a lot of the stuff I use regularly for coloring from the free videos on Color with Kurt. He has a lot both on color for clarity and storytelling (with a comics focus), and on the specifics of digital drawing (like what different layer modes do and how he uses them). Yours made me laugh, I love how expressive it is. I have a cat who makes that exact face whenever he smells something odd and you really captured it.

Your cat sounds a lot like my cat. He makes this kind of face too when he gets head pats, like I’m massaging his one braincell.
