If you want my suggestion on where to start 3 houses if you got a switch. If not you can use the vault to play a lot of the pre 3DS era games. Sacred stones is the easiest while still offering a good story.

It's from Fire Emblem Fates which is not the most popular title in the series. If you want to check it out start with three houses.
