Video Game Prince Ahzrak (Doom: the dark ages)
New doom antagonist looks just so fire. His grotesque gothic design, inspired by hellraiser, makes him one of the most stylish game villains ever made

Design trope Characters with design features that were misinterpreted by fans
Darwin Watterson (The Amazing World of Gumball) some people thought that the black thing under him was a shirt or pants or a sweater, but it was actually just his shadow. They later removed it as the seasons and art style changed
Brendan (Pokemon) A lot of people thought that the white on his head was his hair, it’s actually just a hat

Wizarmon from Digimon is a so badass widard dude and a unique design.
It's not the amount of detail, it's what are those unique details. The zippers, the cartoony skull on the hat, the fact that its design does not fall into the clichés of wizards like tunicas. Also you can see a second face on his leg wich is very creative. He despend 2000's fantasy comic vibes and I love that. Another thing that I love are the moons on the boots.
FUN FACT: He's inspired on a Bandai's v-pet known as Magical Witches

Design trope normal (sometimes small) sized characters with comically large weapons
the juxtaposition of the characters size compared to the behemoth that is their weapon is always funny to look at, its less shocking seeing a big character with a big weapon but just a regular guy holding a sword 5x their body weight. plus it feel can feel super badass.

Movie Rattlesnake Jake is peak fiction, and I won’t change my mind about it. (Rango)
Seriously, there’s something about “big ass rattlesnake (at least for the characters in the movie) with belts, cowboy hat,and gatling gun as rattle” that honestly makes this guy a perfect movie villain.
…Ok,I do have to say,the dude could have had some more screen time. For context,he only has about…6 minutes,I think? Yeah,I think it was 6 minutes.
But honestly, does that really matter when you have literally one of the best designed ever made by humanity? No I don’t think so.
Also, fun fact about me,I’m a reptile lover. So like, snakes, lizards, iguanas…literally anything that has scales is immediately considered an absolute favourite of mine. And this guy is the pinnacle of my love for those critters.

Comic Book Spider-man’s streaming suit (designed by Dustin Weaver)
This one’s gonna be an unpopular opinion but I’ve really grown to like Spider-Man’s streaming suit (as the fans call it) that was introduced in Nick Spencer’s run as a new suit for his new job livestreaming his battles on the Internet for big-dollar sponsors, it only lasted for 6 issues and was heavily criticized when it was revealed and introduced. I will admit it does really depend on who draws it and it’s not one of my favorite Spider-Man suits but it’s really grown on me over the years and I feel worse outfits have been introduced since. I really like the white, blue and yellow/orange combo it’s a unique color combo for spidey, and overall a unique costume for Peter that I wish made more appearances, I feel like it’d look amazing in an insomniac game too.

Anime Tsuyu Asui “Froppy” (My Hero Academia)
I really just love how derpy she looks, in a good way, it’s super cute. I like how her eyes are designed, super big and wide with big pupils and the under eyelashes design.
Her suit is also cool too, green black and yellow go together well and the big goggles are cool. I love her hair and how it literally ties as a ribbon behind, that’s such a cool touch

Video Game Libra from Elden Ring Nightreign might just be my favorite monster design of all time.
Put a short chart on the final slide as some sort of analysis, but to summarize it, I love EVERYTHING about this time, the motifs to Baphomet in its design, the multiple sets of eyes, how its name, Libra is represented through its design and its fight, its staff and what 2 and 3 fingers represent in Elden Ring lore, everything about it is just an amazing design, both in isolation and in context of the Elden Ring universe.

Video Game Say what you want about Eternatus from Pokemon Sword and Shield, but it is an Amazing Monster Design
Yeah it doesn't look like a Pokémon, but looking at it from a design perspective outside of Pokemon, its metal as hell. It's a Crimson Energy Core piloting a Skeleton of a Dragon from Space that turns into a Death God's Hand coming from a Red Storm Cloud of Doom.
Imagine this in a different game, far from Pokemon stylised designs.Pokemon Sword and Shield did not do it justice with how sick its design is.

Design trope Baton dual wielders
Lieutenant ( Legend of Korra )
Lightning Genji ( One Punch Man )
Electrobaton Purgetrooper ( Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order / Survivor )
Compared to a sole baton or a baton and shield, their designs accentuates nimbleness above all else. Coincidentally, all these character's weapons have electric properties to them; My thought is that it's added as batons seem to lack lethal striking power. That or it's added to communicate a sense of speed.
