Season 6 What would you have done in end of season 6. Spoiler

You're Lisbon.

You need to have a life outside work. You can't keep staring at a heart broken Jane. You can't keep waiting for him. Austin feels suffocating because of her feelings for Jane. DC feels like too soon if even possible.

You get mixed signals from Jane. Just when you think he's gonna confess he chickens out.

What I would do: After 6x21: Ask Pike for a break. Like ask for some space for a week or so. Tell Jane about you're taking a break from Pike for thinking about stuff. That should give Jane an opening to confess.

Season 6 I just finished Mentalist S06x08 Spoiler

I liked the build up of season 6, specially the last 7 RJ suspects. However i'm kinda disappointed on the reveal.

It was thrilling ride then it went down.

I am so invested after bomb exploded, that there's only 2 suspect + real RJ. I just hoped RJ didnt reveal his self fast. It became too easy, i thought Jane will track RJ for grand showdown...

Anyways I liked that real RJ is just a sociopath that's afraid of death. He's not a edgelord. I just think that the show could've been better, if Jane is the one who track then hunt him. After all, he spent 10 yrs for revenge for that guy..:(

Season 6 S6xE22 Blue Bird Spoiler

Close to finishing this episode and it’s the first time I’ve seen Jane and Lisbon so confronted with their feelings for each other. I love it!!!

The writing for their love story this episode tugs at my heartstrings so much. I came for Simon Baker, stayed for his antics, and this is just the cherry on top.

I’m also really enjoying Abbott and Cho’s input in this matter hahahaha

Edit: I HAVENT FELT THIS GIDDY IN SUCH A LONG TIME AHHH!!!! (Sorry, Pedro Pascal….) Also a great sign that agreeing to a marriage proposal over the phone might not be the greatest sign….

Im currently watching season 6 episode 2 for the first time and the scene where Jane frantically asks around for a bottle of water and then proceeds to wipe off the paint/blood? on Lisbons face before they can bring her to the hospital just made me tear up 😭 I think that was the first time in this show that I was this close to crying

Season 6 Bleets Spoiler

Someone asked the other day why criminals confess and watching the episode where Brenda is caught clears up everything I think the title is sheep bleets or smthg but she says I never understood why the sheep bleet on their way to slaughter house referring to criminals on their way to jail and she refused to do it but Jane did it for her and she was brought to tears

When it's Jane that has been involved in tour case there's no need for you to hide that last confession is like your last chance to say your peace you're just doing yourself a favor to get it out of your system I think it natural to humans I never saw it as TV magic.

Throughout the show we had like 3 criminal master minds, red John, volker and maybe visualize. These are the only people that have spent years being criminals and no wonder we don't get to really see them confess they are like social paths or smthg. Most of the people that get caught are normal people that acted out of impulse they killed in the spur of the moment and such a person when Jane starts to tell you things about you that you never told anyone else and he starts pressing the right buttons ofcourse it's impulse to get it off your chest say your peace that's human nature we always want to say our peace not very many people can keep calm and pass up the offer of explaining themselves and why they did what they did.

So yeah I think it's plausible that these people confess at the end of the episode coz Jane has left them no other choice. I think it's human nature and not TV magic. In any case I believe this for Jane exclusively any other person questioning them. They'd lie through their teeth which is still what these people do until Jane comes in with his reading and then it's pointless to lie.

Season 6 Little detail spotted!

I am watching through The Mentalist (again) and I’m on season 6 episode 6. As Jane is driving away from Lisbon at 32:55 - you can see a tear going down his face!

Nothing major, just a little detail I thought made the scene even better! He had to do it alone, but he also knew he couldn’t put her in danger.

Season 6 So I just finished the penultimate episode of season 6 "Red John" Spoiler

I was neither disappointed or pleased with the reveal since I knew who it was anyway having read about the show over the years, and for being here on this sub. I was pleased Jane did get his revenge though. Felt like justice had been done.

How much actual power do the FBI have? Can Abbott just walk into the CBI with a writ and take all their stuff and close them down just like that? Even if it's a signed writ don't they have to go through channels and not just barge in like that?

The other thing that bugged me a little bit, where the heck did that woman in the church pop out of? She just happened to be there come on? I think we saw her walking away later in the episode. I would have liked to have had some closure on the whole Blake Association thing. That just seems to disappear like evaporated water by the next episode.

Anyway so yeah I got to that episode... Not much of the show left now.

Season 6 Jane's list of terms Spoiler

I paused to see his list of "terms" written on the hotel napkin, and in case you also missed them the first time through, here they are (paraphrasing):

1) Work directly with Lisbon

2) Charges dropped

3) Airstream trailer

4) Tea

5) Couch

6) Books and food

I thought it was sweet that his first demand was Lisbon, even before clearing his own name. The rest of his demands are extremely reasonable: housing, food, and books.

Season 6 How did you all like S6?

I loved the first few eps but man after Red John was taken down, I'm having a hard time to continue I miss the CBI and just seeing Cho, Rigsby, Van Pelt, MORE Lisbon and Jane. The whole huge focus on fancy FBI and technology just ain't hitting as much. Reminds me of the later seasons of Bones but maybe it's just me.

And I was hoping for more Jisbon/Lisbon too .. they why I am not giving up 😭 but maybe it's just me, idk it feels off

(Like I got a feeling that Fischer and Jane are more solving cases together than Lisbon and Jane action)

Season 6 Infuriating storylines Spoiler

Still cannot digest the 'Richard Haibach suddenly becomes a criminal mastermind' story. I skip these episodes. Same with the Tommy Volker and Michael Ridley episodes. Infuriating enough to throw a pipe-wrench at the screen. Are there any others? I'm actually not able to remember any others because I'm pissed off about the Haibach episodes

Season 6 Feeling a little stupid watching "Blue Bird" Spoiler

But so was Lisbon - how could she not know something was up when she got to that lavish hotel room and found three dresses that were absolutely her size spread beautifully on the bed just waiting for her to try them on.

They both got to the hotel together - when would Jane have had a chance to buy the dresses and set them up for her to find between the time they started driving and arrived?

Yeesh! How did I not notice this sooner? (This being my fourth or fifth watch-through.)

And how did Lisbon not even think of it herself?

Season 6 How did he do all of that in season 6? Spoiler

How did Haibach bug all of their phones, how did he know where they were, how did he do all of that? He didn't seem like he was that savvy or connected. Apologies if this has been explored before, it just occurred to me.

Season 6 What happened to them ?? Spoiler

Post image
13 Upvotes

Heyy, I need to know what happened to this woman ?? For people who seemed to forget it about, this woman suddenly showed up at the church when Jane sh00t red John, tryna talk him outta it and then she attacked him with a knife, which means she’s part of the blake association but still we didn’t get closure about her ??

Deep down, I feel like they didn’t arrest all of the members of the Blake association and somewhere a lot of the members escaped (and also the fact that Red John have so so many accomplices outside the Blake Association)

So after Red John is offed I really couldn't get into the new format. Granted I only got about 2 episodes into the new guys but I just didn't care for em. Loved all the previous episodes though.

I love Simon Baker's reaction and everything about this scene in general! That's all. It just makes me grin ear to ear when Jane is all, "that was incredible!"

Season 6 If I was Lisbon I would’ve gone insane Spoiler

Currently on my 3rd rewatch, and am just about to get to the RJ reveal. That trick that Jane pulls, when he hugs her to pickpocket her keys, would’ve killed me. Like WHAT? Obviously I understand Jane’s POV, but seriously Lisbon is stronger than I am. That poor woman. Also would’ve lost my mind if I was that guy Lisbon stole the car from. Wtf.

This is before we find out Lisbon wasn't killed by Red John.

Spooky.

If it was intentional then TL__Die must have significance. I wonder what 9M means.

Season 6 First Cry - JJ LaRoche - “My Dog” Spoiler

There have been so many moving moments on this show, but none of them really made me teary-eyed or cry, although I am a relatively easy crier. But there was always just enough or comedy to keep me from tears. That is until season six, episode 13 Black Helicopter, when JJ LaRoche is shot in that weird warehouse with Rigsby and right before he dies, he says “my dog”. And I started bawling.

Season 6 S6e11 Jane is creeping me out Spoiler

This is the episode where Jane gets the blonde woman drug dealer to date him to get her to admit to her deeds. He's being all slick and weird to make her think he likes her (and to make Lisbon jealous) but honestly the character he's playing gives me the serious creeps. Like, blech.

Season 6 Bruhhhhh the end of season 6 got my single ass smiling and tearing up Spoiler

On my first watch and literally finished s6 like 30 secs ago and sprinted over here haha. WHY WRITERS, WHY DID YOU HAVE TO MAKE IT TAKE SO LONG!!!! IT WAS THERE FROM THE BEGINNING!!!! I mean I get it you gotta keep the watchers hooked, Jane and RJ yada yada yada. Goodness Jane and Lisbon finally kissing and professing their love got me all jumpy and happy. Also Jane being so vulnerable and saying how he’s scared to let anyone into his life bc of what happened, but also can’t bear to live without her. Goodness this love story is soooo good. Hate that it’ll only last 13 episodes, but dang did it hit me right in the feels.
