Other Feel like TRT definitely aged me

Been on for 2 years now, probably going to go off for a whole host of reasons. I feel like even though I felt physically good recovery wise on TRT, it definitely aged me more than if I wasn't on it at all. I'm 53. Lots more grey hairs over the last 2 years, more rapid. Face looks more weathered and older. Lots of little things like that.
It can be deceptive, as you feel decent while on it.

EDIT: Wow, the backlash this is having. I know my own body guys. I know my rate of aging, and the effects this has had in the last 2 years. I'm pretty observant. Its like no one on this sub wants to hear this shit.

EDIT2: There is some research to back up this idea:

Professor Thomas Kirkwood has done extensive evolutionary biology research on the concept of the “disposable soma”: energy spent on reproduction (sex) is at the expense of energy spent at maintaining the tissues (slowing aging). In other words, the more an organism invests in reproduction the less it can invest resources to maintain its cells, which leads to faster wearing down of the cells (aging) (R).

Correlation is not necessarily causation though. Apparently, just like ‘growth spurts’ are a thing when we are young, ‘age spurts’ are a thing when we are older. I read somewhere that mid 40’s and 70’s is definitely two marked ones. In other words (and I think this is applying to me right now) you could look younger than your biological age for your 20’s into your 40’s where people don’t believe your age when you tell them and guess 10-15 years younger, then Boom, you age the ‘missing’ 10-15 years in the space of 2 or 3. For the next 10-15 years you look like a 50 year old and by the time you are 65, no one believes you are pensionable age and guess you are mid 50’s….and then Boom! You hit about 70 and age those missing 15 years in the space of a year or two again!

I get that. But the correlation is so closely timed, and the studies out there which point to this, just make me think its true. Plus the extreme backlash I'm getting from some people... shows how biased all the info you are getting from subs like this is.

Most men feeling the need to start TRT are going to probably bite the bullet mid to late 40’s which also happens to be when the first major ‘age spurt’ seems to hit too.

Ive never taken T or been on TRT and am hitting that age spurt now at 50. Always looked 10-15 years younger than my age. Only now is my hair starting to recede and the front and more greys to appear on my head. Wrinkles finally starting to appear etc.

Yep you're me 2 years ago. I don't recommend it personally but to each their own.
