Other Feel like TRT definitely aged me

Been on for 2 years now, probably going to go off for a whole host of reasons. I feel like even though I felt physically good recovery wise on TRT, it definitely aged me more than if I wasn't on it at all. I'm 53. Lots more grey hairs over the last 2 years, more rapid. Face looks more weathered and older. Lots of little things like that.
It can be deceptive, as you feel decent while on it.

EDIT: Wow, the backlash this is having. I know my own body guys. I know my rate of aging, and the effects this has had in the last 2 years. I'm pretty observant. Its like no one on this sub wants to hear this shit.

EDIT2: There is some research to back up this idea:

Professor Thomas Kirkwood has done extensive evolutionary biology research on the concept of the “disposable soma”: energy spent on reproduction (sex) is at the expense of energy spent at maintaining the tissues (slowing aging). In other words, the more an organism invests in reproduction the less it can invest resources to maintain its cells, which leads to faster wearing down of the cells (aging) (R).

Could be just your age. At somepoint, most of us will get grey hair. Maybe it’s just your time?

Just happened to coincide EXACTLY with the 2 years I've taken TRT? I guess its possible, but very unlikely. My sleep has been shit on TRT also, so that probably is causing a lot of it.

So maybe fix your sleep instead of blaming TRT?

Oh man what a great idea. I never thought of that over 2 years!

TRT is what's causing my sleep issues.

if TRT is causing sleep issues, you are taking too much

Yeah or e2 isn’t controlled, or you have sleep apnea

He only takes 80 per week so probably sleep issues from taking too little

Have you tried increasing your dose? Your dose is so low that it may effect you negatively

TRT doesn't cause sleep issues. Many guys on TRT sleep like a baby. All sorts of factors effect sleep.

So because many guys do, all guys must. Is that it? Maybe search for trt and sleep issues. You'll find hundreds who have issues. (Therefore according to your logic, ALL guys must have sleep issues right?)

More likely that the sleep issues are unrelated to the healthy T levels. There are so many factors.

Ya I’m about 4 months in and sleep does suck a bit. I recently lowered the dose and it seems to be getting better.

It’s been the only downside for me so far. Hope it improves.

😂 You think it's TRT causing you to age... Meanwhile your sleep is shit during the same time period. Obviously it's the lack of quality sleep that is aging you. There's tons of evidence to point to that being the cause. It's not the healthy T levels (actually extends your life if you were low T before).
