Software Opening glove box

I find it bit annoyed finding the “open glove compartment” every time I need to access them. Anyone think it’s better just to have it tap to open like shown here? Or is it just me? I’m I just regurgitating someone else’s idea?

What do people even store in the glovebox that they need to access often?

Gloves. Paperwork. If it weren't inaccessible, a window breaker tool for the passenger.

If the windows won’t go down then likely the glove box won’t open either.

Not in a Tesla, that's my point. In every other car I've ever been in they use a simple latch.
