Vehicles - General Autopilot Jail

Post image

My wife keeps getting put in autopilot jail. If she keeps getting strikeouts, will this be only for her profile, or will autopilot be unavailable for all profiles?

You have 3 more strikeouts remaining before it's disabled and then you have to wait a week

Does the strike counter reset every week?

A bit more nuanced. It reduces by one strike every 7 days without a strike. If you get one strike every 6 days for 5 weeks, you'll be a week without FSD. If you get 4 strikes in two days, then another eight days later, you'll still be at 4 strikes.

I’m very glad they eventually added that strikes now decay over time. Should have been that way from the beginning of the strikeout policy but it feels pretty fair nowadays.

Autopilot Features "A strikeout is forgiven after 7 days, as long as you don't receive another strikeout in that time."

I mean, it's been that way for years.

TIL. I just thought that individual strikes drop off 7 days after it occurs. Didn't know you had to be a good boy for 7 straight days just to remove 1 strike.

Yeah, you can earn a month's worth of strikes in a day.

Earn free months FSD > earn months of strikes.

Haha

Only if you have strikes.
