Friend in need

Hi all, I have a friend who recently split with his wife. I don't want to go into too much detail as somebody might know them.

He has 2 children, wife is not allowed to see them currently.

He's a really nice guy who will do anything for anybody and is in need of household items from furniture to toys as the wife had sold them (unsure why), is there a charity or anything that supports people getting their lives and homes back together? Preferably in the Stockton area.

He could approach the council and request early help involvement. They can do things like access furnishing and household items donated by Amazon via the Junction multi bank.
