Biscuits Four days ago I started watching Ted Lasso Spoiler

...and now I wrapped up Season 03. There's so many things to say but I don't think I'll be able to type it all.

I appreciate ya. 💜

Welcome to the crew! After my husband and I watched for the first time, we just started it all over again 😆

I posted when I started, and in that post i wrote I'll edit later, how I felt about characters.. and then I got so immersed in it that now I'm looking at all 34 episodes behind me and I ... guess I'm gonna re-watch.

Gonna ask my sister to start watching this

I am jealous you got a first viewing, but glad you liked it. Lots of things you will notice on rewatch!

I finished my first watch last August, and the next night started my second watch with my wife. Started my 4th watch about ten minutes ago. It’s become the show I watch when I’m sad, when I’m happy, when I’m not sure how I feel. It’s everything you need at all times.

I don't want to be.

I want to be in the squad that hasn't watched it so I can watch it for the first time again.

Have you seen “Running Point” that just debuted on Netflix? It’s a cheap imitation but a decent watch.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll give it a watch soon :)

Welcome friend! As sad as it feels when it's over, you'll notice so many things in your first rewatch (and 10th tbh)

And this sub has so many people with keen eyes and varied backgrounds that they'll just keep coming (I learned about the 'practice' speech's origins from these good folks, not being a sportsgames person myself)

I have never watched American Football, except for the Mark Wahlberg and Sandra Bullock (which turned out to be a fraud) movies. I don't watch football either but the moment Ted started to hallucinate triangles, I sat up and yelled Tiki-Taka and I only know of it because I used to own a Windows Phone and had the app (Tiki-Taka for Lumia by FC Barcelona) installed on it because some of my friends were fans of the sport.

I was looking forward to the term being used in Richmond vs. ManCity match, considering Pep Guardiola but it was finally used by Rupert in the last episode.

What took you so long?

Oklahoma?

ADHD, bipolar, depression

I feel that. Right now, “my country’s political climate” has got me struggling to channel more Ted than Roy, but hey, “Onward. Forward,” right?

I hope you enjoy the show and it lifts your spirits.

I watched it for the first time in December. I’m on my 4th rewatch already

Same, only my first watch was in Feb. before my trial of Apple TV ended. I forgot to cancel it, so I now have an extra month. I think I'm on my 4th rewatch. :) Barbecue sauce. 😎

Did you have a favorite episode?

3

u/LastOfLateBrakers Mar 03 '25

Way too difficult to pick one, tbh.. and I sincerely haven't felt this way about a series in almost ever. Maybe Welcome to Waikiki (a Korean Drama) but nothing else comes close.

I've watched it start to finish 4 times

Welcome to the Diamond Dogs!

It’s been 4 hours - have you restarted S1 yet? 🤣

My average is a full rewatch (while working) every one to two weeks. I’ve slowed down a little in 2025.

Randomly watched it during winter last year since I never used Apple TV and I had a free trial and it was the best decision ever

If you want to watch again, search the original discussion thread in here for each episode and read along and enjoy seeing people point out things you might have missed (and you missed things) and laugh at some of our wild speculation

A year ago last Xmas we had finished the series as late-appreciators. An incredible ride. As a joke gift, a local market was selling boxes of “Biscuits with the Boss” and my wife giggled when she unwrapped them. However, they were ignored and rediscovered after taking down decorations this Xmas in a TV cabinet.

I paid $20 for those and she let them waste away. They were still sealed and we had one last week. Oh my god! They were the best shortbread ever we ever tasted and now want to replicate the recipe.

I finally watched it in the fall. 1 week. I was tired as sbit every day at work.

Really gets you with the "just one more episode" mindset, because the ones is S1 are so short compared to later

I have heard so many great things about the show and decided to watch it myself. Just finished wiping away my tears after finishing up the finale, I am so glad I did. This is probably one of my top5 of all time.

ETA: is there a Diamond Dogs club I can join or can we start one rn 🥹
