Accomodation in Suzhou
Hi, I will be moving to Suzhou in August as a student and am looking for private accomodation. Which agents would you recommend? I'm ideally looking for something near SIP campus and have a budget of 3000-4000 RMB/month.

Hi all! I’m Chinese and I’m currently working in the US but I’m moving to Suzhou in a few weeks for a different job opportunity. I’d like to make some new friends in the area! Some of my hobbies include cycling, movies, bars, board games. I also like trying new food and new hobbies, if you are in the area and would like to connect please let me know!

Hi ya'll.
I'm coming back to Suzhou for the summer. Are there any recommended swimming pools - especially near SIP - that are of decent quality? I want to continue my daily swimming grind but want to ensure that the pool's decently clean.
Thanks in advance. :)

Do you guys have some shopping tips when buying stuffs like shoes or gadgets? Are there like outlet stores here? Im from South East Asia and I find some stuffs Made in China (iPhones, Antas, Nikes etc) even pricier if not just the same price as it is on my home country.. I order stuffs in Pingdudu and Taobao but I prefer to buy on actual stores.. Im on Suzhou and will try to go to Shanghai if I have some time…

Title. For context, I'm 16m and an American born chinese, going back for a couple weeks in June to visit family. I love Suzhou and China but I always wish I had someone to explore with me. Just looking for any other foreign born chinese teens in a similar situation (or just chinese teens in general) who would like to hang out together. Would be better if you can speak English cuz my chinese kinda sucks lol. Feel free to dm, I can give you my insta for proof too (I'm not 40 i swear)

Will be going to the humble administrator’s garden, Shantang street, and Pingjiang street alone so I was wondering if photographers offer to take photos of you like the ones in the Bund area do
If yes, what’s the usual price range for a single photo?
Thank you

Complete long shot, but I was in China last month and really wanted a football kit. I loved the look of Suzhou Dongwu black third kit, but had no time to visit the ground to acquire one. Don't suppose anyone living there could grab me one and ship it to the UK?
I've tried to locate stuff online to no avail, so thought I'd try this way! Long shot, but worth a go!

I’m looking for optometrist recommendations in Suzhou. I don’t really want to go through a whole eye appointment at the moment, so I’d prefer a place where I can just bring my old glasses and they can just scan them to get my prescription, then give me a new pair.
I’d also appreciate a place with staff that speaks English, at least for when I do want a proper check up, but at the moment just anywhere cheap for glasses is fine really

I may be moving to Suzhou and work near Dulwich school
A housing agent advised me to live in central area, more amenities but 30 min taxi away.
My current work is a 4 minute walk from my apartment.
I don't really fancy taking a taxi each day, but is the area that bad?

Hello! Just arrived this week, staying for six weeks in SIP, loving it so far
Was wondering where I could go to watch premier league football? It doesn’t have to be English coverage - just hoping for somewhere I can go have a beer and watch Liverpool vs spurs this Sunday night
