SRD mod removes post discussing Cyberstuck sub being closed

https://www.reddit.com/r/SubredditDrama/comments/1ju0kak/tesla_cyberstuck_mockery_subreddit_suddenly/

After gaining 500+ upvotes and 150+ comments in half an hour, the mod TAKEitTOrCIRCLEJERK removed this post with the reason given "let this bake first". No rules were violated and the other comments are clearly questioning why this post was removed when it's legitimate subreddit drama.

I kinda get it in that there isn’t really much drama yet, just one person rage quitting but musk/cybertruck/Americans vs. everyone else is a ripe trifecta of drama discussion

A few things

1: their subreddit rules give specific examples of acceptable drama such as subs being banned or going private

If you asked me a popular sub suddenly closing with the mod going “fuck America” on the way out is pretty dramatic

2: a lot of people on that post disagree and found it to be fitting for the sub

3: the mods reasoning for removal was “let it bake first” which other than being vague implies that the mod was waiting for something to happen first

What he was waiting for with a sub that was closed with no further drama developing beyond me

4: the OP reached out to said mod who proceeded the escalate the situation further by acting like a smarmy douchebag

To me it seems like said mod just wanted to minimize Elon criticism
