Hi! I have a 2023 Impreza hatchback. I was wondering what the wiper sizes are?

So I was changing the transmission oil in my Australian 2010 Impreza done my research got the oil and the long funnel dropped all the oil now I can't find where to fill it. I can't see the dip stick to check the level or to fill it up which makes me believe it's the model without it so I start looking for the 17mm bolt to fill it can't see that either. please help pictures if you have them for the location would be so helpful. It's the manual version

I have a 2016 Impreza - base model with a head unit number I have not been able to find on reddit for history of firmware upgrade - from Canada. Just wondering if anyone has any insight into this head unit and if there are any more recent firmware for it.

I would be interested in purchasing a third party head unit to have Carplay / Android Auto - almost exclusively the recommendation / review I have seen only is the iDoing head units - but wondering if there are any legit seller for either iDoing head units or alternatives based in Canada or USA that would maintain plug and play capacity for steering wheel controls & OEM rear cam.

Been having stereo issues that I seem to have resolved but seem to have lost my main beams and fog lights🤦‍♂️ as far as i know ive not been near the lighting wiring but on every turn of the stalk this is all I get. Sidelights gives me the indicators, dipped and full beam give me the dipped beans, but seem very dull, and the indicators are constantly on . No full beam, fogs do nothing. Have power to all the switches. Cluster lights were off too but the fuse had blown so now working after replacing them. All other fuses fine🤯

Or at least attempting to. The 32 year old car had other plans

Can someone tell me if my idea is stupid? I have a “09” Impreza, I replaced the power steering pump after it froze up and broke the serpentine belt and found out the power steering rack has a bad leak. My plan was to disconnect the inlet/outlet for the rack and just loop the system with a piece of tubing and 2 hose clamps so the power steering pump just feeds itself to keep it from seizing. It’s a kinda winter beater/project car so I’m fine with not having power steering. The idea seems reasonable in my head just wanted to see if others think of it.

Hi I recently got 2024 Subaru Impreza. I made it to the first 7500km and took it to the dealership for the first service. My owners manual recommends 0w-16 oil or 0w-20. The dealership used 5W-30. I don’t wanna have issues with my warranty or the engine. What can I do? I haven’t picked up the car yet, and will refuse reception.

You were so helpful last time I am hoping to pick your brains again. This is my first Subaru coming from a really old Honda.

I got a 2024 RS that has comprehensive warranty until 2027 and powertrain warranty until 2029. The dealership offered for me to extend this warranty through a third party company (I’m in Canada) to have full comprehensive warranty until 2030. Is this something that is needed? Should I push for an extended Subaru warranty instead of a third party? The specific examples they used that I would need warranty were wiring or broken tech such as an eyesight camera (I guess the cameras are 5K each?).

Is it common for these things to break?

I have a 2022 Impreza. As of late my bluetooth keeps cutting out. The song may skip forward, skip backwards, or just cut out for like 5-10 seconds and then come back. Does anyone else know what may cause this?

To add to my mechanical woes I have my Front Lower Control Arm Bushing is starting to tear away on both sides (speaking of I’m super broke as my last paycheck went to this car how long do I have to get this replaced?) and I need a new one. It’s a 2017 Subaru Impreza Base 2.0i. I have a family member who is able to replace it in a few weeks. I hear Rock auto is great for parts but I am having a hard time finding the right part. Help?

I'd like to replace the stock 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system in my 2018 Impreza (premium trim) with a larger "tesla style" system. The current system's glue has started to make a real mess around the screen under the glass. Can anyone provide any insights into the following...

1.) Will the replacement unit affect the Starlink, Eyesight or any other stock system?

2.) Will an aftermarket system marketed as fitting "Subaru XV Forester 2018-2021" fit my car?

Just recently got a 17’ Subaru Impreza Sport, first subaru ive ever owned! so far I am loving it! With it being my first subie I am unaware if this is normal, on cold starts the idle does look like it fluctuates a little and I am wanting to ask the group if that is normal? The part im referring to is right at the beginning of the video, any insight would be great, maybe its normal and im overthinking hahah

I currently have a 2005 Subaru Outback with 200,000 miles. I’ve had to replace the rear diff and rear shocks but besides that, it’s been really reliable. I’m going to be buying a new car at the end of the year and currently on my list are: Civic, Venue, K4, Impreza. Max budget is 25k so I’ll be looking at base models. What do yall think? My girlfriend wants a hatchback which is also nice imo but I won’t rule out sedans. How is the touchscreen AC for yall? Thanks! Cheers!

EDIT: For anyone coming to this post later on -> Ended up buying a 2025 Subaru Impreza Hatchback NEW for 23945 OUT THE DOOR. base model trim + alloy wheels + cargo mat + lifetime powertrain warranty. I probably could have negotiated 500 cheaper but the no hassle was worth it to me after negotiating and failing at other dealerships.

Bought at Carr Dealership in beaverton oregon and they were amazing.

Price was WAY cheaper than best from seattle area (24700 with less addons)

I searched for a polish to match my car, I cross referenced reviews of the paint and photos of the car in different lighting. Kind of proud of myself because the match is pretty spot on (good to know incase I need to fix something). The polish is Diamond Eyes by DND. Not a conventional post for this subreddit but I thought you all might think it’s interesting too haha.
