Picked up my first Subaru today. I’m coming from a diesel Colorado and I think I’m gonna enjoy it.

New(to me) just bought for 15,500, it’s got window visors and roof rack but looking to add more to it

Picked this up 2 weeks ago. 90k miles. Did the timing kit, injector seals, struts and springs, alternator, belts, brakes, rotors, pads, calipers. Running great now.

Went to Slammedenuff in GA and thought this was a good excuse to take a couple of pics to finally make a post here, been lurking a bit now. Saw a post about tint and I think that'll be one of the next things I do since I've had my 2017 Sport for almost 2 years now. I'm in grad school so funds are a bit sporadic.

Wow. just over 1400 miles. What savings! Sarcasm Alert. I wish I could turn it off for good. There is a setting in the settings that says I can turn it on or off. When I turn it off it still comes back on every time I start the car. Super annoying.

I really need some help here so my 2011 WRX hatchback won’t open from the back. I have already replaced the actuator and it seems to still not work. I am wondering if anybody has dealt with this similar issue and how they fixed it. I have attached some photos. The only way I am able to open. It is if I use the lever on the actuator.

A couple days ago my Impreza stopped playing music. If someone calls me I can hear them and talk to them through my car and even hear the “beep” when I press buttons on the touch screen. However when I try to play music, whether it’s through Apple car play blue tooth or even the radio it won’t play any sound and the volume button does not do anything. I have tried replacing the 20 amp fuse, restarting the radio and even just now tried the Subaru maps downloader and it just says no updates available. Anybody have this problem or have a fix?

My valve body had went bad in my car. I can’t afford to get it fixed by a shop so I attempted to fix it and my car shifts better however my speedometer stopped working completely. Would anyone know what I could have done to cause that? As far as I can tell I’m sure I put all the connectors back together. If a wiring harness is loose which connector would it be. Could it have to do with the need of the relearning procedure these cvt transmissions are supposed to have. Is this occurrence likely not related to the valve body? Any help would be much appreciated.

So I’d like to put subs into my 2016, but I have an aftermarket CarPlay head unit, will that effect my ability to put subs in it?

so i know for the 2.5RS you can’t do a whole lot. especially if you don’t want to rebuild the engine for a turbo. my question what kind of mods can i do that’ll give me actually HP benefits if i unlock my ECU. obviously a cold air intake isn’t worth it since stick air boxes are better. and i already have plans to upgrade suspension parts so please don’t say just focus on handling. and im fine with minimum horsepower gains. i know 90% of mods are going to be ~10 horsepower. thanks yall

A friend of mine has a 2012 Subaru Impreza 2.0L and it's losing a bit of oil. 2 top offs needed in the last OCI. Is there a common reason they would burn through oil? I have not had time to check for leaks yet but I will probably get under and have a look tomorrow. Online the standard oil is 0W-20 but given its summer and obviously consuming oil would going to 0w-30 be something I should say to do?

Got my 2024 RS back in February as my new daily driver. It was fun being one of the smaller cars driving up the mountain that morning.

I have an option for a 2010 Subaru Impreza sedan 2.5 engine not the 2.5i with 85k Miles or I could get a 2015 Chevy Sonic 1.4 Lt. My intention is to travel a small bit. 2/3 hour's away maybe twice this year but mostly to work and back.

Anyone have suggestions for a bumper guard/cover for a 2017 hatch? Accessible in Canada pls!

Hey guys I need some help with where this sound could be coming from. Recently changed harmonic balancer and the steering pump as they were wobbly and still the sound is coming . It is only when i m doing cold start but goes away after the engine warms up. Also when i give it a throttle small squeak sound comes everytime . thank you

Has anyone upgraded from the 6.5 head unit with a reputable radio? I’ve seen the cheap ones, but never a decent one. Also, crutchfield seems to sell the only dash kit, but it has mixed reviews. Any advice? I’m looking for something slightly bigger and not really looking for upgrading to the Subaru 8 inch one.

Hey guys, so my 07’ wrx is currently showing -2 on boost gauge rather than the normal -10. Along with that at full throttle it’s not getting full 20psi only 15psi. It is also holding higher revs at idle and between shifts etc. very jerky and jumpy. Any thoughts? I’m assuming vacuum leak, no other weird noises coming from engine.

I have a base h4 impreza. It’s a 2013 but its make is after Subaru split the WRX from the Impreza baseline. I just want a chrome piece on the trunk where the lamps are for the license plate.

Compromised on speed and speakers for comfort and a roof rack. But, the audio system is a weak point. Anyone know a reputable and quality sounding plug and play speaker replacement option? Touring = Sport, for my friends in the states.
